Loki's Son

DAD!

Okay so does anyone want to look over Loki's Son and maybe some of my other stories before I post the chapters? I would like to have another person go over and look for any errors in my work, or to tell me ideas on things to make them better if they have any. So just send me a message and tell me if you'd like to, you don't have to edit for all my stories, just whichever one or ones you want to. Look at it this way, you get to read the new chapters before anyone else!

Loki Pov

I walked through the glass doors of Stark's accursed tower with Thor. I would rather be back in my cell, slowly starving to death. With my currently weak form, the travel thought the rainbow bridge caused me a lot of pain. I still could barely breath, though of course I hid this fact from the oaf. I keep my head down not wanting to see the reactions I know will be on the faces of the Avengers. Barton will no doubt be getting immense satisfaction from my tortured body. There was hardly anywhere that didn't show signs of it. I hear a lot of gasps, then I hear two things that make me look up. "DAD!" "LOKI, MY DARLING!"

I see my wife and son standing before me, and truly break fro the first time. I fall to my knees, tears streaming down my face, and giant sobs breaking from my chest. They both run to me and we clutch at each other like we would never see each other again.

James Pov

I see my dad drop to his knees after seeing mom and I, both of us rushing forward and dropping to the floor with him to hold him in our arms. I couldn't believe I had my dad back. He looked terrible, but at least he was here. He could heal in peace here at Stark Tower with mom and I. We were all together again, and no one would take us away from each other again, that I would never allow to happen again.

The Avengers, Daph, and Luna leave to give us some privacy; Thor had to tell the Avengers what was going on, Daph had to get home, and Luna made the excuse that she had some work to do. We didn't move for the longest time, the three of us was content to just sit there and hold each other. After we broke apart we went over to the couch and chairs in the room and sat, still staying close enough to reach out and touch if we wanted the contact. I told dad what I'd been up to till mom got back then she took over and talked for a while. It didn't take either of us to get through what had happened then silence come over the room, both of us knew better then to ask dad what he had gone through in the dungeons.  

It was a long time later when we decided to get to bed, it was going to be a long day tomorrow and mom and I decided dad needed the sleep. Mom and dad went to her room and I went back to mine, where Luna was still waiting up for me. I changed then laid down with my head in her lap. She was sitting up reading Bleak House by Charles Dickens. 

"How was it?" Luna asked running her fingers through my hair and setting aside her book.

"We didn't talk much, just got him caught up on things here. Mom and I decided it was best that we call it a night though, dad looked dead on his feet." I said grabbing her hand and kissing the knuckles before lacing our fingers together and putting them over my heart. I closed my eyes and listened to our breathing, it was very calming, especially after waking up from a nightmare. I needed it after the emotional night I just had.

"You okay?" Luna asked.

"Yeah I'm good, just tired." I replied. 

She leaned down and kissed me on the forehead before patting my shoulders to motion for me to move my head and lay right in bed. I did, setting in under the covers on my side. She turned out the lights, then snuggled into my side. I held her close, hoping that I would never have to let go. I don't know what I would do if I lost Luna. I might not have known her for the longest of time, but I loved her just as much as my parents love each other. I could just imagine my mom and dad wrapped in each others arms, holding each other as close as they could. After being gone from each other for so long. I could somewhat see now, just how hard it was for dad when mom disappeared. I kiss her head and close my eyes, listening to our breathing, not long after Luna's breaths slow down and evens out. Peace fills my heart, allowing me to fall into the void with her.

Next Morning Loki Pov

I woke up after my wife had already gotten up, I could hear her in the next room getting ready for the day. Smiling I got up as well and join her. Kissing her head I turn the knob she indicates to turn on the shower. I clean up and put on the clothes she laid on the bed. It was a pair of slacks with a black button up shirt. I had her cut my hair from the shaggy mess it had become, then we left to the breakfast room. Everyone else but my child and his young lady were there. I raised my eye at my wife, Maria, "James?" I mouth.

She frowns and looks up, "Jarvis, you tell my son that If he isnt here in two minutes I dont care what he says, he WILL NOT be shareing a room with Miss Luna anymore." 

"Of course Lady Maria I will tell them at once."

"Aw dont worry so much, James is a good kid, he isnt doing anything he shouldnt," Pepper says trying to sooth my fuming wife.

"It is not appropriate for a man and a woman to be in a bedroom alone before they are wed," was Maria's cold reply.

I was unfortunately drinking from a glass of water that I had procured at that moment and it spewed everywhere from the heavy laughter those words incited in me.

"Why did reindeer games suddenly become a human sprinkler? What;s so funny, I want in on the joke," Stark says.

"I apologize, I can clean up the mess." I said quietly, worried about my reaction. I found a towel and started wiping up all the water.

"Your fine Loki, but seriously what was so funny?" Stark insists.

Before I could reply Thor decides to but into the conversation his voice loud with mirth, "It probably amused Loki because he would bring Lady Maria back to his chambers for late night activities many of times before they were married. That was actually the reason they were married, because Loki got her pregnant!"

"THOR!" Both my wife and I yell at the same time. Maria went red in a mixture of anger and embarrassment.  

Maria stormed out of the room just as James walked in having heard the last part of the conversation. His eyes were wide and Luna was right behind him with eyes just as wide. I looked towards the door my wife stormed out of and my son before I take off after Maria.
