Hiking "fun" {Chapter 7}

Y/n's POV
We walked towards the water park and took a right at the nature center, we got to the booth area. We got water, some snacks, 6 pairs of boots, and two bags, we put on the boots and placed the water and snacks in the bag, Aaron and Mark carried them. "You guys ready to go, the trails 5 miles, but there's only one booth, halfway there." I said, they nodded as we started down the trail. I felt a small pain in my left leg, probably just slept on it I thought as we continued down the trail, "So how often do you guys do this?" Aphmau asked, "Here's our first time, but normally every month or so we go up to the mountains for the weekend" Mark said, "Maybe we should come with next time?" Aaron laughed a little, "I don't even think we live remotely close to eachother." I said, "Well, where do you live?" Travis, "We live in a city named Mycity"(I made it up, it's where Aphmau's mystreet is suppose to take place, I guess). "No way, that's where we live!" Aphmau said, "That's awesome! What street?" I asked, "Mystreet" Katelyn said, "cool, we live a few streets down" Mark said, "We really need to see each other!" I said, they all nodded. We kept talking about home for a while, I saw a lake in the distance. "Hey guys, I see a lake, wanna go swimming?" I asked, we all agreed and ran over, we took of the boots and Mark and Aaron put the bags down as we jumped in, it was perfect. "Oh my Irene, this is perfect" Travis said, "You said it" I agreed as I swam under, it was crystal clear. I saw a odd figure at the bottem, it had four legs, long and.... ALLIGATOR I yelled in my head as I swam to the surface, "Everyone Out! Alligator!" I yelled, everyone swam/walked(Aphmau) to shore, we all got up as the Alligator got on shore, we took everything we had and started throwing it, I guess it found us annoying and went back into the water. "Ok, NOT doing that again" Aaron said, I realized it was off the trail, "I... Took us off the trail, didn't I" I said putting my head down in grief. "Hey, it isn't your fault" Mark said, "Acutally, it kinda was-" "Katelyn!" Katelyn started and Aphmau and Travis finished. "No. she's right, I shouldn't have taken you guys here" I said as I grabbed my stuff and headed toward the trail again. Dammit, this was all my fault...
Aaron's POV
We followed Y/n back onto the trail and finished the rest of the way to the end, we all talked, except for Y/n. It wasn't all his fault I felt a poke on my forearm, I saw Aphmau motioning me to talk to Y/n, I nodded my head and ran up behind Y/n. "Hey, that wasn't your fault" I said, he turned around and sighed, "Yeah it is, I just wanted for you guys to have some fun out here, but I guess that can't happen. I noticed a cut on his forearm, "What's with the cut on your arm?" I asked, he looked and covered it, "Probably just scratched it, it's nothing" he said, I shrugged it off as we got to the end.
