Sarah's POV-
I've been talking to Aaliyah more and more everyday and even though we got in a fight, she's still my best friend and I want her to be here for my birthday. But she can't afford it and neither can I, so I guess I'll just get a phone call from her but it's already almost 10 AM and I thought she would've called by now. When me and Kian finish getting ready, I ask him where we're going but he won't tell me. When it's time to leave, I walk out the door and notice something by my feet. I look down and see a black penny board with light blue wheels.
"Kian?" I say with a questionable look on my face. I turn around to see him grinning when suddenly the other guys jump out the door of their room and scream.
"Happy Birthday!!" I jump then look at them with a big smile on my face.
"Oh my God, stop it!" I say hitting Dom on the arm because he is in the front, "You scared the shit out of me!!" I yell and all the guys laugh. "Wait.. is this mine?" I say picking up the penny board and turning to Kian. He shrugs and smiles.
"Thank you so much!" I say giving him a hug.
"Hey, it wasn't just me, the guys helped me pick it out." He answers, pointing to them.
"Thank you guys!! I love it!" I say spinning the wheels. "So, is that where we're going? To ride our penny boards?" I ask excitedly.
"Nope." Kian says grabbing his jacket. I turn to the other guys.
"Do you know where we're going?" I ask.
"Maybe." Ryan says and most of them shrug their shoulders.
"Are ya'll coming too?" I ask while grabbing my phone off the bed. They nod their heads with grins on their faces, then go back into their rooms to get their phones and jackets. When they come back, we go downstairs and get in an Uber. As I'm in the car wondering where we're going, the car all of the sudden slowly comes to a stop at a laser tag place.
"Laser tag!?" I say and look at Kian with an excited face. He nods his head and we all get out of the car. This is going to be really fun and cute because the first place we hung out... and kissed was at a laser tag place. It's still not the same though because Aaliyah isn't here. When we go in, the guys all pay and Kian pays for me. But when I turn the corner of the cashier register, I see Aaliyah standing there with her arms held out and a big smile on her face.
"Aaliyah!!" I yell and run up to hug her.
"Happy birthday, girl!!" she says and squeezes me in a hug.
"Oh my God, I've missed you!!" I say and pull away from the hug.
"I know, I've missed you too!!" she says and the guys come in and get there hugs from her. When they finish, she hands me a card.
"Don't worry, this isn't it. I'll give you your other presents later." She says.
"Aw thanks! You really didn't have to get me anything." I say taking the card and she just rolls her eyes and slightly shakes her head while smiling. I open the card and read it. 'For all those mornings I've missed getting coffee with you!'
"Aww!" I say and take out the gift card thats in the card. A $50 gift card to Starbucks.
"Thank you!" I say and hug her. "But wait.. how'd you even get here?" I say giggling.
"Kian flew me out." She says pointing to him. I turn to him.
"Kian, thank you so much!!" I say. After a few minutes, we go into the first game. It was so fun and it brought back so many memories from that first night. I never want this to end. When the last game finished, we all met in the middle and started walking out. As I was walking, Kian grabbed my hand and pulled me to him in a kiss. He put his hands around my waist and slowly moved them towards my butt as I put mine around his cheeks. When we finally broke free from the kiss, we walked out holding hands and soon got into another Uber, and by the time we got in, it was about 12:15. After talking in the car for 15 minutes, we pull into the parking garage of a mall. First laser tag... now the mall? (see a pattern?😉 ) When we walk in, we head to the food court and almost each of us gets something different. Kian and I split a chicken sandwich. After that we just have fun walking around the mall and taking pictures with some fans. Kian also buys me a bunch of new clothes and bathing suits and accessories. Today has already been the best birthday. After we finish at the mall, we stop back at the hotel to grab a few things, then we're back out. All the guys grabbed their penny boards and I grabbed mine. We also changed into our bathing suits and grabbed our sunglasses. When we arrive at the next stop, we get to a beautiful beach... laser tag, mall, beach? He's taken me to all the highlights of our trip. That's so cute and it brought back so many great memories! He made this the best birthday I could ever wish for. When we got out of the car we all rode our penny boards and taught Aaliyah how to ride. Then we got in the water, messing around, splashing each other, and throwing sand at each other. It was perfect.
