He had been electrocuted 9,000 voltes. His lover held in chains to watch screamed in agony. The energy flew through the air raising static around them. He collapsed the water from his body, boiled. She, hung from her chains, her arms extended above her. She gritted her teeth and shook, tears fell silently down her face. The electrocutioner exited. He directed she be taken to the cells.
She was freed from her chains and collapsed to the ground, shaking unable to function. Rope was bound around her torso and wrists, they began to drag her off. Her pupils dilated and she became hysteric. The screams bounced off the walls. She fell to her knees and sobbed "please...".
Her captor softens from a lost emotion called, compassion. He lowered the rope and she ran to her lovers side. He lay there still, she silently felt helplessness. Her chest felt heavy and her stomach hollow. The ropes came off her skin, by once again compassion. She touched him and received a current of electricity. She touched his cheeks and his lips and his hair, now dry like sandpaper. Softly she sang to him, under the spell of love or hysteria. Her eyes glazed over as her captor bounds her once again.
"Thank you."
She walked through the endless halls. Different women sat curled up in their cells, with numbers on the glass. They grew thin and hollow. She felt no different.
The doors opened before her a loop was placed around her neck followed by a jerk to the floor below her. She fell to her knees, a thin hand caressed her chin then forced her to gaze into glacier colored eyes.
"Master."
She would address this stranger as such, for she was his property now. He had kept his word, destroy everything near and dear to her.
