So you may think that heaven and hell doesn't exist, well it does here,my names Ruby and I live in a small house in America I'm not a mundane, I'm a shape shifter,1 out of 17 people have powers some are used for bad some are used for good and some are just used for fun they say god gave us these powers for a reason and satan gave the evil powers.

I go to a mixed school (mundanes and gifted )in Canada called Bolton.

I'm loving it here cold weather, it's perfect to go around in my polar bear form and scared the living day lights out of people.

My friend Scarlet she's a gifted one as well, she can move things and people with the power of her mind, Telekinesis. (She always win a fight).

So after school we always hang out.

As we walked into the milk bar I turned into my hawk form and landed on Scarlet's shoulder as she ordered some m & m's.

"Kaaa kaaa"

"You sure you don't want m & ms?" Scarlet says politely.

"Kaaaaaaaaaaa"

"Okayyy, Tim Tams it is." She says extending the 'okay'.

Most people can't understand me in my animal form unless I let them through brain communication or telepathy.

Just then Harry walks through the door, my eyes opened wide and my heart rate went up as I run towards him and my arms went around his back and i gripped him tightly.

But I felt myself being lifted up into the air and being spilt apart from Harry.

"There now it not awkward for me"as scarlet giggles stubbornly

"Bitch"

"What my boyfriend isn't here so you guys can show affection later"

"What ever" I said laughing a really stupid laugh

Harry has powers of the nature such as ,healing and talking to animals, and has the power of earth (making plant grow at rapid speed and hight)

We started walking home me and Harry went back to my dads for a bit

My dad is a mundane and I haven't told my mum or my dad I'm gifted they think I'm a mundane I'm the only one I know with mundane parent with a gifted daughter or son

We walked through the door and dad was asleep on the couch , how embarrassing I though my boyfriends here and he sounds like an airplane going pass the house.

We played a bit of cod on the Xbox of course he won , finally my dad got up and cooked us some chips in the deep fryer.

We had a knock at the door it was Lois, yes she gifted as well (I hang around the gifted because if your seen with a mundane you start acting like one).

Her power was seeing the future but not only her future, others as well (it's really creepy) just kidding :)

So we went and sat in my dad's 4wd and connect my iPod to his music, it was getting dark and it was hot and stuffy in. So me and Lois put the windows down so we could actually breath.

BANG!!!

"WHAT THE FUCKS NAME IS THAT?" Lois said scared shitless.

I try to put my window up it was so slow. I rapidly keep pressing the button then I locked the car. Lois jumped in the back with Harry, we were scared, yeah we have powers but all the mundane gangs come and try and kill the gifted.

"RUBY TIME TO COME INSIDE"

Thank god it was my dad that made the big bang noise.

"Ruby you've gotta tell him you know that."

"I know Harry I just need more time."
