ACT: A Complicated Tale

Chapter 8

Unexpected

"How did she find us?!" Lily said overwhelmed.

Sarah shrugged "Probably the girls in the house of AZ."

"Wonder what she's gonna say to Erika..." Lily smirked.

"Something about Joshua." I blurted out.

Sarah was driving the car back to AZ while we were having a conversation which kinda felt like both Lily and Sarah were going to blow their heads off.

"Who the hell is Joshua?" Lily asked turning her back from the front seat next to Sarah again.

"Joshua is that artist guy, that plays mind games on me."

"Oh...Him." Lily said kind of surprised. "No wonder why Dierdrey is so mean to you!"

"Yeah tell me about it." Sarah laughed "She hates me for no reason and she's going all over Erika because of her ex-BF Josh. Talk about causing trouble."

"Explains a lot about Dierdrey, she's such a bossy bastard, how much you wanna bet she's going to force you to get her and Josh together." Lily looked at me smiling.

Yeah, of course! Some times I just wish that there was no such person as Dierdrey. I thought.

"Well that's possible." I answered.

We all arrived at the Beta's  house near AZ, where there was loud music, gyrating, the smell of cigarettes and alcoholic drinks. Everyone was in uniform except  the three of us.
Dierdrey was walking toward me, with a smug face in her school uniform.

"Erika, follow me, we need to talk in private."

Here it goes... I thought.
I knew what she was about to say, I've grown bored of her personality and this was completely stupid anyways. I can't go on like obedient Erika with no mouth, a follow-the-rules machine, but how could I not. I could never change that part of me.

We walked behind the staircase as Dierdrey started to talk "Joshua-"

And by the look of it, Carrie walked past the both of us in the knick of time. She paused as soon as she heard Joshua's name.

"-Dierdrey, come on! Stop being such a control freak! If you really want my brother, then go talk to him yourself!" Carrie broke Dierdrey's soon to be command in strife. She looked like she wanted to strangle Dierdrey.

It seemed like Carrie had my back.

"This is not your business Carrie, so stop obsessing over your brother, it's gross and illegal!" Dierdrey shot back, giving Carrie an evil grin.

"Oh bitch please, its not like you care more about him, you just want him back so he can be your toy again."

Dierdrey grown completely aggravated, walking closer into Carries face.

"What now Dierdrey? Are you going to go crazy now?" Carrie questioned while Dierdrey was still in her face.

I wanted this to stop, this was going to far, I knew Dierdrey was bossy but never violent.

"Please stop..." I motioned quietly. Everyone was looking at the commotion Dierdrey and Carrie had caused.

Sarah, as bright as she was, walked through the uniformed crowd commentary  and pushed Dierdrey and Carrie apart.

"This has gone to far... Dierdrey, you're our house mom, manager, what ever! Your suppose to be a role model - a guide for us to get through college and now your about to attack another person!" Sarah looked at Dierdrey,disappointed.
