Chapter 10 - First Day

In this chapter, Ciara will be starting her first day at University! Also, I'm sorry as im not a professional writer, so things might be a bit too cliche, and they might not make sense, so im so sorry.

Ciara's P.O.V

I grabbed a granola bar and bit into it. Today, was my first day of University, and I was super excited. I was wearing a white knee length summer dress with a red jumper on top and red flats. I curled the ends of my dirty blonde hair and applied light make up on. I grapped my peach rucksack and walked into the car, where Tyler was waiting for me. He smiled at me and drove off. It was kind of awkward in the car, with 'Heart Attack' playing on.

I dropped my jaw as I got out the car and looked at the University building.

"Oh My God" I said, still astonished. This place was huge and so, fancy?

I walked to the front door with Tyler. 

"I'll come with you to the office" He said, leading the way. I followed him up some stairs, through some halls and into the Dean's office. 

"Goodmorning, Tyler" He said as we walked in, 

"Morning, Mr Jones. This is Ciara, Ciara Jenkins." Tyler said. I shyly smiled, as we both sat down.

"Ahh, right" Mr Jones said, looking through some files. He pulled one out and looked through it. 

"Your orientation presentation, will begin at 6:30 AM, so in half an hour. After that you will be given tour, and then dropped off at your first class, Calculus" He said.

"Okay" I replied. 

Tyler looked at his watch.

"I hope you dont mind Mr Jones, but I have to go to class" Tyler said, getting up. 

"Thats Alright, I'll take Ciara to the orientation" Mr Jones said as Tyler walked out. 

I was kinda disappointed, but oh well. I stayed in his class for half an hour, as he went through a couple of things and even gave me cookies.

He took me to this large cinema-like room and introduced me to all the professors and the important people, then he told me to find a seat. He went after that, leaving me on my own. I looked around, I was pretty nervous, my excitement was slowly fading away. I noticed a girl with dark blue hair and black clothes in the corner. I walked over and sat beside her.

"Hi" I said.

"Hey" She replied quietly.

"Im Ciara, you are?" I asked.

She stared at me cluelessly.

"Im Ciara, now whats your name?" I said in a sing-song voice.

"Oh. Vic" She said, slightly smiling. I smiled back. I noticed her dark and thick eyeliner.

"Listen up please everyone" Said someone on the stage, we all turned our heads and stared at him. 

"Welcome to your first year here at Oakwood Private University" He said, and everyone cheered and clapped. I didnt see what was so happy about that. "Today, we will be going through some basics, and just discussing things" And he showed us everything we needed to know for about two hours. And it was VERY boring. We all got up and made our way out the hall. Afterwards we had an hour long tour, on our way they dropped students off to their classrooms. When it was my turn, I smiled as Vic was also in my class.

"Goodmorning Class, I'll be handing out text books for Calculus 1" The female teacher said, handing out green and white textbooks.

She started showing us some basics, and revising stuff we learnt in high school. Just simple stuff.

After two classes, I was bored as hell. Thankfully, I had a free period, so I went to the cafeteria and had some Chinese Chicken Chilli with Fried Vegetable Rice, and it was delicious. The rest of the day went fine, I was getting excited over nothing, University is not all that fun.

Vic drove me home, as Tyler still had classes. I really liked her, she was a bit weird at first, but i'm glad I talked to her. 

I got out the car and pushed the door open. It was really quiet, a bit boring. I walked up to my room and threw my peach rucksack onto my bed. I took my red jumper off and my red flats off. Once I felt comfortable, I went downstairs and jumped onto the sofa. I grabbed the remote and switched the tv on, I put on a music channel and turned the volume up. 

RING RING .... I picked up my blaring phon. It was Bianca. 

"Hey Bi!" I said.

"Ciara, hi!" She replied.

"Soo" 

"Today was your first day at uni, right?" 

"Mhmm" 

"How come I didnt  see you?" 

"I dont know" 

"Anywhoo, theres a party at the beach on Friday" 

"Really? Whos coming?" 

"Pretty much everyone, oh and tell Tyler hes invited as well"

"Will do!"

"By the way, its at 3" 

"Okay"

We talked on fror another 15 minutes, then she hung up. I jerked up as I heard the door open, I turned around and felt my stomach turning as I saw Tyler walk in.

"Hey" He said sleepily

"Hi" I smiled

He smiled back and walked up the stairs. He looked so cute when he was sleepy! I walked to the kitchen and bit into an apple.Where in the world was Maria. I went into Maria's room .It was small and very simple. The lights were turned off and I heard light snoring. Ahh, shes asleep. I decided that I wanted to cook dinner. I went into the kitchen and grabbed one of Maria's cookbooks. I flipped through the pages until I found Spaghetti. Thankfully, we had all the ingredients, and I started to cook. After two hours, dinner was served!

"Mmm, this is so good!" Tyler said, I blushed.

"Yeah, very good, for your first time ever" Maria added. 

I smiled. I felt so happy to be praised.

Today was such a tiring day, me and Tyler decided to watch a scary movie, 'Mama' . I got the popcorn out the microwave and walked to the TV lounge. I sat down with it on my laps as Tyler placed the DVD into the DVD player. I wrapped myself in my blanket and leaned back on the comfy sofa.

"Oh by the way, Bianca's hosting a beach party on Friday" I said

"Mhmm" He said, not really listening.

I hunched up closer and pulled my blanket around me tighter.

I watched as Tyler came and sat down beside me. He grabbed the remote and pressed play.

The movie was great! it was scary as hell but it was really good movie

After a while, I got really sleepy and fell asleep on the couch, while Tyler slept on the floor. 

I woke up two hours later, when it was past midnight. It was really quiet. I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I switched the lights back on.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as a black figure infront of me jumped at me...
