[Ariel's POV]
"I miss the old days" Jakob said. We all did. We all missed those days. But it's never gonna be like that again. Everything has changed, everything is different now. We've all changed. Most likely for the better.
"We have to move on" i let out. "We can't just sit around here each and every day waiting for our lives to change. We can't force it to happen. We didn't force me to move, my mother to die. We didn't force Ethan and Chris to fight, for me to meet Grayson, for Jakob and I to date. We didn't force anything. It just happened. And it all happened for a reason. I got to see my dad after so long. Jakob and Ethan got to travel to America. Chris and Titania found feelings for each other again."
They all stared at me. All three of them. Their eyes widened. "Ariel, I-" Chris said. "Don't hate me. It's the honest truth" I cut him off. "No. No it's true. I think we should move on" Chris continued. "We have to enjoy life and how it is now, we have to live in the present. The past is over and we can't go back to that"
"I'm gonna go" Jakob said as he stood up. "Me too" said Ethan, and they both walked off leaving Ariel and Chris. "Cmon, let's go home" Chris nudged Ariel's arm to grab her attention.
