Powers And An Injury

At the cave - third person POV

Elli B08, Cheetah B07, "Hey guys!" Liz said as she went into the living room area from the zeta tubes, "We've got good news!" Elli finished for Liz eager to tell the Team that she could join them, "Well, are you going to tell us?" Kaldur said kindly, "Let me geuss, you found a way to get me back?" Wally said playfully, only to be slapped by Artemis, "Ow! What was that for?!" Wally yelled at the blond, "Shut up, baywaych, I would like to hear what they have to say!" Artemis said while motioning to Liz and Elli, "I would be quite if you didn't slap me!" Wally yelled, "Can you both be quite, or do I have to tie you together?" Robin said, holding duct tape, while smirking.

"No!" Wally and Artemis yelled in unison, "Good, I'm tired of your bickering." Superboy mumbled, but the to arguing heros didn't hear him.

"Anyways, Elli is going to join the team! Well, with Batman permission of course." Liz said excitedly, "Um, does anyone else smell smoke?" Elli said, "My cookies!" Ma'gann exclaimed as she flew towards the kitchen, "I was trying a new recipe." Ma'gann said sadly as she levitated the burnt cookies out of the oven, but Liz and Wally were eating away, "What?" They said together, "They're just a little crunchy, that's all." Wally said with his mouth full of cookies, "Thanks guys." Ma'gann said, smiling.

"Time for training!" Black Canary said as she walked into the kitchen area, "And who's this, another new member, that's good." Canary said as she motioned to Elli, "Well, not yet, my parents are okay with it, their retired super heros after all, they weren't in the League though, and I have a power." Elli said while looking at Canary, "Let's go to the training room and you can show me your powers." Canary said while motioning for the Team to follow her, "Elli, you still haven't got to show us your powers yet, so this will be a good time to show the Team." Robin said as he walked beside Elli, "Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that, well, here's one thing I can do." Elli said while changing the color and length of her hair, it was now to her shoulder instead of her waist, and blond instead of red, "That's cool, and good for under cover missions." Robin said as the made it to the training room.

"Now, who would like to spar against me?" Canary said as she walked into the middle of the floor, "I will." Lizzy said as she walked up to Canary and they both got into a fighting stance.

Lizzy's POV

I volunteered to fight Black Canary, "This is gonna be tough." I thought to my self as I got into a fighting position, I went to throw the first punch, there was an open area on me, and with my super fast reflexes, I knew she was gonna hit me there, so I grabbed her hand as she tried to punch me, but before I knew it I was on the ground because she kicked my side, knocking me over, Cheetah, fail, the computer said, "Ow." I said, as I took Canary's hand that she offered me, "Thanks." I said as I stood up, "You're welcome, but does anybody know what she did wrong?" Canary said, Elli quickly raised her hand, "Yes, Elli?" Canary said, "Liz should've been watching your other hand while she held your one hand, and she should've found an open spot to hit you." Elli said proudly, "Correct!" Canary said.

(I don't know ANYTHING about fighting btw)

"Elli, who would you like to go against?" Canary asked Elli, "I'll go against Wally." Elli said while smirking, "Okay, but do you even know how to fight?" Wally said as he finished the chips he mysteriously go, "You'll see." She said, that gave Wally a worried look, "Go!" Canary yelled and Wally started to spin in circles, with his superspeed, around Elli, she just laughed and stuck her arm out, that made Wally trip, but he still stood, Elli and Wally were an good five or so feet away from each other, when Elli reached out her arm, "Woah, she has the same power and Plastic Man, that's cool." it.thought, Elli reached out her arm to grab Wally, but he sped out of the way, but it looked like Elli was expecting that, and she reached out her other arm, and grabbed his neck collar, and dragged him over to her, "Hey Elli, you know what, I've gotta run, bye!" Wally said as he ran away, but Elli never loosened her grip on Wally, I shifted into a cheetah cub and followed Ellis arm, running as fast as I could, only to see Wally's door to his room slide closed and after it closed, I heard, what I'm guessing was Elli scream, I noticed that Ellis arm was closed between the door and the wall.

Wally's POV- BECAUSE I CAN!

I was running all around the cave, with Elli's hand still gripped, tight, on my shirt, I finally decided to run into my room and lock it. After the door slid closed and locked, I heard, who I'm guessing was Elli, scream, "I'm dead meat." I thought.

I heard BC tell Rob to hack the door so it would open, but, it was jammed, because of Elli's arm, after I heard Ell, (yes that's her nickname that only me and Lizzy can call her), scream, her hand let me go, and tried to slip out of the door, "It really hurts." I heard Elli say from outside, "Sorry, BC, its jammed, and if Conner tries to pull it open, it could hurt Elli even more." I heard Robin say, "I don't care if it might hurt more! Conner, please open it." Elli yelled but got quieter as she spoke, "Fine." Was all Conner said before I saw his fingers come through the door, and him pulling the door open.

"Will you quit slapping me!!" I yelled as I held my cheek because Artemis came in my room as soon as the door was opened, and slapped me, hard, on my cheek.

Liz's POV

We were all outside of Wally's room, waiting for Conner to open the door, just as he stared to open it, "OOOWW!!" Elli yelled, as soon as Conner had the door opened, Artemis marched right in Wally's room and slapped him, hard, "Will you quit slapping me!!" Wally yelled as he held his cheek with his hand, "Yeah, I will stop slapping you." Artemis said with a smirk, right before she kicked Wally's shin, "I meant stop hurting me." Wally said, now hopping on one foot and holding his shin with his hands, "Will you both stop arguing, we are a team, you can argue on your own time, but not here." Kaldur said, "Fine!" They both yelled as Artemis stormed out of the room, "I'm sorry Elli." Wally said shamefully with his hand on his neck, "Don't talk to me." Was Elli's reply, as Ma'gann took her to the med bay.

Ma'gann's POV

There was a big bruise on Elli's arm, as we passed the kitchen, I uses my mind powers to get an ice pack for her, "Are you okay?" I asked Elli, "Yeah, thanks." She said as I handed her the ice pack, "Are you sure, I feel waves of pain and anger coming off of you, are you mad at Wally?" I asked her as we walked inside of the med bay door, she sat in the bed as Robin came in the room, "What are you doing Robin?" Elli asked him, "Oh, no one else knows how to do medical stuff, I know how do a lot of it though." He said as he started to wrap up Elli's arm.

Wally was about to run in here, but I stopped him using my mind powers, "Come on Ma'gann, I want to talk to her, she's my best friend." Wally thought, I shook my head no, "But she's my best friend!" Wally yelled, "Hey, I thought I was your best friend!" Robin said, "Fine, she's my girl best friend." Wally said as he sighed, "Eh-em." Liz said as she walked past Wally, "BOTH OF YOU ARE MY GIRL BEST FRIENDS, OKAY! Ma'gann, please let me go." Wally yelled, but then talked when he asked me to let him go.

Elli's POV (I'll rarely do this since she's my friends character)

"Okay, fine, can you all leave, but Wally, stay." I said, "Are you sure?" Ma'gann asked, worry laced with her words, I nodded my head yes, after everyone left, I walked over to Wally and slapped him, hard, "Yeah, I deserved that." Wally said as he looked down with his hand on his neck, "You're darn well right you deserved that!!" I yelled, "Oh, and I forgive you." I said with a smile as I left the room, I think I might've scared Wally, that was the plan, although I really meant it when I said I forgave him, he's my best friend, how could I be mad at him.

I know, I know, its shorter, but I did a really long chappy for you, so imma be doing a few shorter ones for now.
