Aqua's POV
*Aqua's dream*
"I'm so sorry" my mum says trying to sound calm. But her eyes let her down saying that she is breaking inside.
"This can't be!" i scream but my voice breaks at the end. My mum quickly hurries over engaging me into a hug. She knows how to calm me down by stroking my long blonde hair. But nothing will be able to stop these tears from falling.
*End of dream*
i instantly get woken up by my phone buzzing annoyingly, noticing it's my best friend Yasmin. Being kind and all i answer but immediately regret it.
"AQUAAAAAAA" she yells exaggerating the 'a'
"Ow! I think i'm now deaf" i hear her giggle making my ears hearing means though it wasn't overly loud.
"Oh stop being a drama queen"
"What?" i can imagine her rolling her eyes as she sighs. I know this girl so well. Now it's my turn to giggle.
"So as i was saying before i got interrupted. See you at school, bye!!!!!'
And there she went, what a pointless call.
But after all i couldn't wait to see her especially Jake. When i first transferred her i bumped into this hot, sexy guy by accident. After hours of talking i guess you could say things clicked because now we are best friends. But after about 3 years i finally realized i liked him.......alot. Every time he touches me i get goosebumps and feel sparks. He is the only person that can make me blush so easily great note the sarcasm and he can practically make me go to anything or play anything. Jake is just so,so,so.......amazing.
Well i guess i should start getting ready. As i can't be asked to do anything with my hair so i just leave it down because it is naturally straight. I decide to wear a blue tank top with a white cardigan, skinny jeans and my white boots well i think they're mine if not then......oh well. I walk downstairs to see not a person in sight. My mum must of already left for work. In that case i grabbed myself and apple and got into my beautiful car on my way to school, it should be a good day today.
After a ten minute drive i got out my car to be greeted by a screaming Yasmin. But i forgave her inapporiate screaming as she gave me a hug. I then turned around to then bump into someones chest. I was about to apologize when i felt the familiar arms wrap around me. I was so caught by surprise that i was just standing like a lemon, until Jake whispered "Well aren't you going to hug me back," with that comment i instantly hugged him back to hear him chuckling. "Someone missed me a lot" Jake said while chuckling. That's when i realized i had my grip on him too tight. Awkward. So i playfully hit him while my cheeks flushed red. As i looked up at him i saw him pouting and rubbing his arm. So i started to giggle but he looked adorable. By my action, Jake putting his hand on his heart acting hurt "i'm glad you find my pain funny" he said trying to fake sobs but fell into fits of laughter. Resulting to all of us laughing. It was quite bad as i fell into Jake's arms again. I looked up at him, our eyes just locked together. He slowly leaned in never losing eye contact, he quickly glanced at my lips. Omg he's going to kiss me. Soon i felt his arms wrap around my waist. Suddenly the bell started ringing which made us both jump apart. Jake scratched the back of his neck which looked incredibly sexy. While i just looked at my shoes as if they were the most interesting things in the whole world. Yasmin then came up to us and to be honest i didnt even know she left. As she is Yasmin she noticed the tension and she mouthed to me 'tell me later' and i just nodded. We all said bye to eachother. I was then dragged by Yasmin upto our form. Without her i have no idea what i would do in these situations.
Jake's POV
As i exited my car i noticed Aqua and Yasmin engaged in a hug. I stood by my car for a little while just checking Aqua out. She looked perfect and is perfect. Since the start we have alwas been friends, but i can only wish me and Aqua were more than best friends. Although every girl in my year would just throw themselves at me. There was only one girl for me. Everyone saw me as a played and quite frankly i am. But she saw past that and knew if i went for someone i actually liked i can settle down with them. I want Aqua, she is the only person that can look past my label at this school and i trust her with my heart.
Well anyway back to the point. I started walking over to them until i got stopped by Summer. Since our summer fling which meant nothing just like the rest but most of the time i was drunk. But she think me and her are a thing when hell no we aren't. Although we are both very popular but Aqua is more. Well Summer started talking some nonesense. I just got distracted by boys checking Aqua out and giving her wolf whistles. Although she didn't seem tocare, it made my fists clench and i wanted to punch each of their faces. I started to walk up to them i was going to scare Aqua, i was right behind her ready to make her jump. Until she turned around and bumped into me. Typical Aqua. I could tell that she was going to apologize but because i just hugged her she stayed silent. I'm guessing she was surprised means though she just stood completely still. So i just whispered in her ear which resulted me in a matter of seconds getting a tight hug. Although i wanted to stay like this forever, however i couldn't breatghe. Once i told her she immediately let go and hit my arm. But i noticed that she was looking away but i still saw her red cheeks. She looked cute and then she bit her bottom lip. That made the temptation to kiss her so much more harder to resist. But i loved the affect i had on Aqua. I quickly got myself into character acting hurt so she wouldn't know that i was admiring her. Aqua turned round so slowly but when she came face to face to me, Aqua stated to giggle. The sound brought music to my ears. I acted so hurt trying to fake sobs but i immediately started to fall into a laughing fit. Soon Aqua joined me i have no idea where Yasmin went. Aqua started to walk forwards while laughing but tripped over her foot. She's so clumsy. As she was falling she landed in my arms. I was looking down at her, then she looked up and our eyes just looked together. In that moment nothing else mattered apart from me and her.
I don't know what came over me but i started to lean in to her. My hand naturally going to her waist. Yeah i've kissed loads of girls before but i know that kissing Aqua would be different. But before i got the chance to kiss those plump, pink lips of hers, the bell started ringing bringing me back to reality. I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly as i didn't know what else to do after that intense moment Yasmin then came up to us glancing at both of us suspecting that something has happened. Within seconds they left leaving me to make my own way to form.
When will i get my chance with Aqua?
