Chapter 2
Yasmin's POV
Aqua was silent all the way to form. It was obvious that something had happened I just hope it wasn't anything bad.
We got to our sets to be introduced to our new form teacher Mr.Scott weird name but he looked incredibly young I can just see it now girls drooling over him throughout lessons. Ugh. Well good thing I have drama first we are going to do a performance to the whole school and we get our parts today. Apparently it's supposed to be a romance and everyone knows that Aqua and Jake will probably get the leads, means though they are just brilliant at acting, its unreal how good they are.
I mean Aqua is just perfect I am honoured we have been friends for god knows how many years. I still remember the time when I poured jelly over her that was funny.
I was giggling to myself when Aqua snapped her head round "isn't this disgusting?!" looking around in disgust at the swoon of girls mesmerised by Mr.Scott.I mean come on he's like twice our age it makes me want to be sick, literally. "Yeah I know right but anyway are you excited for drama?"
"Oh yeah totally I can't wait for us to start our new performance" Aqua says jumping in her chair and clapping, I just couldn't help myself but laugh at her childish ways.
Throughout form we had to introduce ourselves and say something interesting about ourselves. The only problem is there is nothing interesting in my life, apart from I do drama performances. Why is my life so uninteresting?
Later rather than later the bell went off signalling to make our way to next lesson. Thank god it's drama, I couldn't be more buzzed about it!!!
Aqua's POV
On our way to drama I kept having a weird feeling that something unexpected was about to happen, but what? Along our way I was stopped many times to ask if I was going to this pool party Saturday. The only problem was throughout my life my mum has forbid me to swim so I don't even know if I can swim. But I don't have to swim, right?
Along the way to class I got stopped by my maths teacher Mrs Summer pretty weird means though summer is supposed to be a happy season except she the most moodiest person I had ever met in the whole of my history. She should really liven up a bit. Anyway as Mrs Summer came up to me I said "hiya miss how can I help you?"
"Hi Aqua as you have the highest grades in maths I would like you to tutor a student and I think they may be able to help you with English"
"Okay miss when did you want me to meet the student and start?"
"I will introduce them to you at lunchtime if you could come up to my office"
"Okay miss, bye"
I saw Yasmin waiting for me just looking at her phone I wanted to make her jump just cause its entertaining. "Oi!!!!" I shouted right in her ear and she went flying in the air that might be exaggerated but she did. It was even more funny just to see our fellow pupils shaking their heads and chuckling lightly. I suddenly felt this wang of force on my head just to realise Yasmin had just hit me ever ally so hard. That's it I'm now brain dead. And then she threatened to take the fun out of my lanky legs this girl is just overall zany but she's still the best.
Anyway we had just made it just that annoying bell rang. As we entered we greeted Miss Hope, she is one of my favourite and youngest teacher which means she chill about most things unless you get really on her nerves, but she normally has a reasonable reason to be. We looked around and spotted Jake completely oblivious to his surroundings so I did exactly the same as I did to Yasmin. Let me tell you it was literally hilarious. His reaction was just golden, he fell onto the floor and than ran around the drama studio screaming and then just his behind Miss. I was just rolling around on the floor laughing and crying not a good combination gave me a bit of a struggle to breathe. Everyone in class was trying to calm me down it worked first of all until I saw Jake's face and I just started again but everyone joined in this time. Miss Hope tried but ended up laughing as well and that was half the lesson. The laughing stopped when a student walked through the door that no one knew. He had brown hair and green eyes and his shirt was untucked it should of looked scruffy but he looked gorgeous like it. I couldn't stop staring until Jake cleared his throat to bring my attention back onto reality. When i looked at Jake I saw a.......pained? Expression through his eyes. Miss introduced the new guy as Adam who had transferred schools and that he was an exceptional actor she knew this as she taught him become coming to our school.
We spent the rest of the lesson getting to know Adam, while everyone was asking him the usual stuff like 'where are you from?' 'Are you single?' which thankfully he is and okay don't judge me he is a very attractive guy and a girl can dream. I was throwing random things at Adam to act out like being a German vampire now that was funny. After several attempts he met my standards and I can honestly say he is one heck of an actor and that's saying a lot from me.
At the end of the lesson finally the moment arrived of who was getting the four lead roles. Miss Hope called out 'Aqua will be playing Sophie Armbridge, Adam will be playing Nathan Pale, Jake will be playing Jack Frost and Yasmin will be playing Quinn William' I was so happy that Yasmin got lead role and she just grabbed my hand and raced towards the script. All that ran through my mind was that this was a romance play so there was to probably going to be a kiss, did that mean I had to kiss Jake?
Jake, Yasmin and I read through the script only to see something that certainly caught my eyes and it said 'Sophie and Nathan share there fourth but not final kiss showing all the passion in their love for each other.' Jake looked like he was going to cry and got up and walked away I wonder why he was upset we were always going to be friends. I was just upset that I had to kiss Adam and not Jake but I guess I have to accept that nothing will happen between me and Jake. Yasmin was just sitting their with a shocked expression where as I had to keep rubbing and pinching myself just to see if this was real.
So I guess all I could say was get ready Adam your about to kiss the Aqua.
