Chapter 1- Cats, ya gotta love 'em

Tahlia's POV

'You're insecure, don't know what for, your turning heads when you walk through the do-or-or' ugh there goes my alarm. I grab my iPod and swipe across the screen, once the music stops I put my iPod back on my bed side table and swing my legs over the side of my bed. I rub my hands over my face and stand up, and head for my wardrobe and grabbed my work shirt with the name and logo of the pet store i work at 'a pet's dream' and the logo is a cat, dog, bird and a rabbit all sleeping together in a circle, I grabbed my favourite bright green short shorts and all my other essentials and headed straight for the shower. I locked the bathroom door behind me and dropped my clothes on the far end if the bathroom and turned the taps on to the right temperature. I stripped from my clothes and got in the shower. I let out a big sigh and the water fell down my back, I used my apple shampoo and conditioner and washed my hair. after about 10 minutes in the shower I turned the Taps off and hopped out of the shower, I grabbed 2 towels, 1 for my hair and 1 for my body. I dried my body and put my clothes on, then went to my sink and looked in the mirror, my hair was soaking wet so I rubbed my hair with the towel for a bit then got my hair dryer out of the cupboard and dried my hair. once I was done I gave it a brush to get all the nots out, now just to figure out how to wear my hair today, hmm out, or up? to the left or the right? fishtail or plat? normal or braid? I decided to go with a fishtail on the left with my little bit of a fringe out. "okay now make-up" I said to myself, I got my foundation, mascara and eye shadow, I never wear to much make-up, cause you know I'm not a whore and don't want to be a cake face and all. I applied the foundation very lightly, then a small amount of mascara and a light brown eye shadow. I look at my self in the mirror to make sure I look okay "well I guess this will do" I said while getting out my tooth brush and toothpaste, after brushing my teeth I grab my wallet, put on my name tag and went down stairs "morning darling" said my mum "morning mum" "off to work yet?" said mum "after some breakfast, then I will be on my way" I said with a smile "what time do you start today?" asked mum "9:15 why?" I asked getting out the bread and popping a piece in the toaster "well you better hurry it's 9:00" she said with a little chuckle, it takes almost 20 minutes to get to work. "c'mon c'mon, haha ,c'mon c'mon, move a little closer now, c'mon c'mon show me what you're all about" I sung just as I finished the line the toast pops up, I grab the toast and quickly butter it up, grab my car keys and I'm off "bye mum, love you" I said taking a bite out of my toast "love you too sweety" I quickly unlocked my car and got in, I shut the door, put on my seatbelt, put the keys in the ignition and turned the key, put the gear into drive and drive out of the driveway and I was on my way. I arrived at work

and quickly got out of the car and locked the door behind me, I ran through the doors and looked at the time 9:15 on the dot! damn that's good timing! "I'm here Oscar!" I yelled "good timing Tully" said Oscar with a smile "why thank you" I said with a smirk "I almost forgot, you will be the only one working today so close up shop as soon as you finish your shift, I have a meeting and the others have the 'flu'" said Oscar using his fingers as quotation marks, I just chuckled "sure Osc" I said with a smile "you will be okay wont you?" asked Oscar " Oscar, I am perfectly capable of working today by myself, hardly anyone comes in on a Sunday" I said still smiling at him "okay then see you Tuesday" he said as he wave and walked outside "see ya then Osc" and with that he was gone. It's now 12:30 and I have fed the animals, swept the floor and sold 5 pets, right now no one is here but me and that's when One Direction started to play over the load speakers and I sung along "you're so pretty when you cry, when you cry. wasn't ready to hear you, say good bye, now you're tearing me apart, tearing me apart, you're tearing me apar-ar-art!" as I continued to sing I started to dance, horribly, I didn't think anyone would come in "nobody compares to you!" as I was dancing I turned to face 5 guys in sunglasses, big hats and big coats, I let out a scream and fell backwards to the floor 'cause they scared the shit outta me "sorry love" said of them, with a British accent "uh it's fine, just don't tell anyone you saw that" I said with a nervous chuckle "no promises" said one with a smirk, damn his thick, husky British accent was gorgeous, but I can't help but think that voice is familiar and so was the other one, hmm. "you better not, I've got a strong kick" I said with a wink and a smirk, they all laughed at my statement which caused me to chuckle and shake my head at the boys "so, how can I help you boys?" I said with a smile "WE'RE HERE FOR A KITTEN!" said the boy with the husky voice, jumping up and down like a 3 year old at Christmas "YAY I LOVE CATS!" I said, I was happy cause I can pick them up now! "OMG ME TOO! CATS ARE MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL!!" said the boy again "SAME!" now both of us were jumping up and down "I will get the key for the kitten pen!" I said grabbing the keys and went to turn around but bumped into 'cat boy' ;) I accidentally knocked him over and he fell to the ground, but his Sunnys and hat fell off. omg, i-it's Harry, Harry Styles, my favourite guy from One Direction, and that means that the other 4 guys are the rest of the boys. shit Harry is still on the ground "shit. Sorry ah Harry" I said awkwardly putting my hand out for him so he can get up. he grabs my hand and instantly I feel sparks, he looks at our hands and smiles then looks into my eyes and I can't help but just stand there and look into them "c'mon love birds" yells Louis, I realised they took their Sunnys, hats and coats off, I pulled Harry up "uh umm thanks... Tahlia" he said reading my name tag, I let out a loud chuckle "call me Tully" I said with a grin he smiled back at me "come on, TO THE KITTENS!" I yelled and jumped, pointing up. I earned a loud laugh from them all as I whooped and ran to the kittens.

Harry's POV

"I will get the key for the kitten pen!" She said grabbing the keys and went to turn around but bumped into me and knocked me over and i fell to the ground, my Sunnys and hat fell off. Shit, where in trouble "shit. Sorry ah Harry" said the girl that worked at the store, putting her hand out for me to take. I grab her hand and I felt these sparks, I have never felt sparks with anyone before.. i look at our hands and smile a big goofy smile, I looked up into her eyes while she pulled me up and just stare into her eyes "c'mon love birds" yells Louis "uh umm thanks... Tahlia" i said reading her name tag that I just noticed, she chuckled at me "call me Tully" she said with a grin i smiled back, this girl is gorgeous, her beautiful chocolate brown eyes are to die for and I love the fact that she isn't wearing loads of make-up, you can hardly tell she has any on now "come on, TO THE KITTENS!" She yelled and jumped, pointing up. Which earned a loud laugh from them all of the boys and she made noises and ran to, where I'm guessing the kittens are. When we got there she was unlocking a glass door "you guys coming?" Asked Tahlia. we all walked over to her and looked in the glass..
