Heading upstairs to my room needing to be alone with my thoughts, when I lay on my bed I scream into my pillow before pulling out my phone to 15 missed calls and 15 missed texts from Bella. How do I explain to my best friend what's happening ot me that I am suppose to all of a sudden be a ruler. Just then my door flies open Bella coming through it throwing down her back pack with a thud.
"Bells c'mon we talked about this" My mom yells from downstairs
"Sorry mrs C I won't do it again" She yells down rolling her eyes before jumping into my bed
"Bitch what is going on? You just dissapear, ghosting me" She says flopping down besides me
"Umm..well...um... you know the rumor going around about the luna thing..." I say trying to find a way to tell her
"Ya now people are saying it's Brandy Nelson which is hard to believe because I mean it's Brandy Nelson she..." She rambles on I block her out
"...what do you think?" She says nudging my arm
"It's me" I say looking over at her
"...What...?" She asks her mouth agap
"It's not Brandy...I'm his mate" I say looking back at the ceiling the rooms goes quiet for a few moments
"YOU'RE GOING TO BE LUNE!!" She screams jumping on me
We decide to go out for coffee in Norwell which happens to be off pack land so I can explain everything that's going on, when we leave pack land we have to be careful around the humans. We're there for what seems like forever Bella eating up every word coming out of my mouth, just then my phone pings.
'Come home now'-M
When we get back to the house the alphas truck is in the drive way oh god what is he doing here, Bella gives me a sly smile before she takes off, I slowly open the door slipping inside.
"Where have you been!" His loud voice booms from another room before I have a chance to even close the door behind me
He appears from the living room my parents trailing behind him, with the look on his face if looks could kill i'd be dead before I realise it I let out a squeak, my hand flies over my mouth.
"My best friend Bella and I went to catch up over coffee" I speak softly as he approaches
"You smell like humans" He whispers when he comes close enough
"You can't just run off like that unprotected anymore once people know who you are they can hurt you" He speaks
"I'm sorry" I spoke softly
"Don't ever be sorry, apologies show weakness" He says lifting my chin
"Go get changed we're going to eat" Nodding; he waits downstairs while I change into a dress and heals
When I come back down stairs he tracks my every movement I try to read his expression but he's unreadible I am so not meant to be luna. He leads me outside opening the door to his truck he has to help me up, his touch is like fire against my skin and Nima doesn't know what to do with herself I try my best to shut her up and ignore her.
"Can I know about you?" He asks as we start to drive
"What do you want to know?" I managed to get out
"Everything" He says looking over at me
"Um..ok I have a little sister who people we look like twins, I love rock music, my favorite color is black, I uh read a lot other then that I lead a pretty boring life" I watch as the woods pass us by
"What about you?" I ask
"Nothing much to report my whole life has been about being the leader this pack needs" He says I can feel his eyes on me
He starts to tell me about how the whole alpha/luna thing works along with a bunch of other information that makes my brain want to explode. When we get to the restaurant we meet up with beta Burns who is holding hands with a girl which is kind of a relief that it won't just us.
The girl is average height, hazzle eyes with flex of green, fire engine red hair, she's absolutly beautiful when she smiles at me, she introduces herself as Lola she graduated last year.
Dinner goes over well but even by the end of it my nerves are still very much there, all I can think about is all the stories I've heard about him over the years. On the way home he lets me know that from now on I will have two guards posted outside the house as well as following me discretly until the news come out.
When we get to the house he introduces me to my new shadows Jagger and Garret who are built like brick friggen walls, then walks me to my door.
"Sleep well mi alma" He whispers kissing my cheek
As he walks away I track the way the muscles in his back move there tight, my eyes track down to his butt which is very nice before I can look away he turns around to open the truck door and catches me, and winks before getting in.
