Hey people! It's definitely been a while since I've updated this fanfic. I'm kinda rushing it so it might be bad. Whatever. Read, vote, comment, do whatever you want. See ya, little bees! ~ Maggie

~Levy's P.O.V.~

So far, I haven't made any progress to be Gajeel's friend at all. I sat between him and Juvia at every meal, I try to read fairy tales to him, and I even talked to him when he was "training". He barely even acknowledges me. But I promised myself, I will be his friend no matter what.

I told Juvia my plan and agreed right away.

"Juvia thinks Gajeel-kun needs a friend other than Juvia. He needs to be more happy."

Today was a new day and I was a little more confident than usual so I decided to go with a new tactic.

I looked around the mess hall for Gajeel, and finally saw his long mop of raven hair. I walked up behind him and put my hands over his eyes.

"Hey Gajeel-kun, guess wh-," I started. But I never finished because I felt a strong grip on my wrist an the next thing I new I was flying over the table and into the column on the other side of the building. The last thing I remember Master's loud cry.

~General P.O.V.~

Everything seemed to go in slow motion as the orphans of Fairy Tail turned their heads and watched as the small McGarden fly across the room. The room fell silent when the sound of her hitting the ground was heard. It was a loud, hollow, thump.

"LEVY!" Mokarov cried. Practically half the guild rushed to the blunettes side. When Lucy got to her side along with Mokarov and Juvia, she started sobbing. The sight of
Levy was horrid. Her arm was bent at a weird angle and she was covered in cuts and bruises.

Elfman, the youngest Strauss sibling, softly picked up the crippled girl and carried her to the infirmary. The crowd dispersed but the whispers exploded. Each group of friends had their own theory about the event that took place. A few minutes later, all the children went back to their seats except two.

Lucy was still kneeling on the ground and you could see that Gajeel was at the back out the crowd. The girl slowly stood up and turned to Gajeel, tears streaming down her face. She slowly walked up to him and when she finally got to him, she weakly punched in on the chest.

"Why?" She spit out. "Why would you do that to Levy-chan? All she wanted to do was be your friend! All she's wanted is for you to be happy!" She threw a few more punches then broke down crying. Gajeel just stood there with a blank expression for a minute or two.

Shouts similar to Lucy's were now directed at Gajeel.

"What did Levy-san do to deserve that?" "You don't even deserve her friendship!" "Why did you even come to our family in the first place?!"

"Gajeel! My office. NOW!"

You could hear the Master's shout resonates throughout the mess hall and all heads turn to Gajeel. He slowly stalked towards Mokarov with his head down, trying to ignore the glares. When he finally got to Master's office and the door closed, the lunch hall exploded in conversation.

Juvia walked over to Lucy and helped off the floor and to a bench.

"Why would he do that, Juvia-chan?" Lucy sobbed. Juvia's brows creased at this question.

"Gajeel-kun is very defensive when strangers get in his personal space." Juvia said carefully. "Juvia has known him the longest so I know how he acts around other people. Gajeel-kun doesn't really have a filter either so when he is mad he always goes way overboard."

Lucy continued to sob until she was all cried out and they both waited to hear the results about Levy's injuries.

God, that was awful. Poop.
