I sat down at the table, and I started to read the book about shadows. "Okay our first step on saving the town." "We're not saving the town." Said Ethan interrupting. "We need to stop whatever the Mayor is up to." I said. "He wasn't drunk when he announced the private schools." "How do you know?" Asked Ethan. I looked at him angrily. "Why do you care." I said. I put my head back on the book. "What's wrong with her?" Whispered Ethan to Robert. I slapped the book closed in the table. I stood up. "I can hear you, you know, I'm not deaf." I said angrily. "And there's nothing wrong with me. If your going to talk behind my back then I'll go save the town by myself." "Wait Rebecca." Said Robert. "We need your help. Please Rebecca." "You know I can get you into the school without someone getting in our way." I said. "How?" Asked Ethan. "I have no......(I sighed) friends." I said. Robert looked at Ethan. "I'm sorry." Said Ethan. "For talking behind your back." "It's okay. I'm use to it." I said. "Well since you accepted my apology, let's be friends, all three of us." Said Ethan. He put out his hand. I shook it. "You guys need to dress like girls." I said. They stared at me. "What?" They asked, "I know, I know it's going to be embarrassing but no one will know, remember I have no friends." I said. They looked at each other with confusion. It looked like they were having their own side conversation. They finale looked at me. "We'll do it but only one condition." Said Ethan. "You have to tell us how you know about the mayor not bring drunk." I looked at him blankly. I took a deep breath and said, "Fine, you can judge me or say anything about this, you can't say this to anyone." "Deal." Both said Robert and Ethan.
