Underestimated Sasuke x reader

Interview

Right now we stood waiting on Sasuke to finish his interview with Konahamaru and his friends.

Naruto, Sakura, and now Sasuke were being questioned by these little kids. I didn't know why, I guess I wasn't listening when they announced why.

"Y/n! You're next!" The girl one said tugging at my leg

"OK. Very well." I said sitting on the ground

"First question! Why did you decide to become a shinobi?" She asked

"Because the people I look up to most are all ninja." I told her

"Like who?" The snot nosed one asked

"My father, my sensei, My cousins, and my best friend." I answered

"You're so cool! You and Sakura are my role models! I want to be powerful kounichi just like you guys!" The girl said

"Aw! How sweet! But you shouldn't look up to us just because we're kounichi. My role models are actually all men." I whispered

They all looked at me confused.

"Whaaa! How can you expect to be like a man?!" They asked

This of course caused some heads to turn.

"Frankly, a role model is someone you admire my role model would be Shizuru Atame." I said

"Shizuru Atame? But he's just a medical ninja. You're a combat ninja right?" Konahamaru asked

"I admire him because he risked his life for people who he didn't know. Shizuru came to my village and while my uncle, who used to tease him mercilessly and stole the love of his life was injured instead of being immature, he saved my uncles life. And one day I wish to have a heart as pure as his." I said patting the girls head.

"You're so cool!" They all shouted in unison

"I wouldn't say that. Sasuke might be mad at me for taking his title." I joked

I turned around to see Sasuke glaring at me, and Naruto holding his stomach laughing.

I stuck my tounge out and turned around.

"Do you have any cool jitsu?" The snot nosed one asked

"If I told you that. I would have to kill you." I whispered

They looked scared, but laughed anyway.

"What'd we get Mei?" I asked

"Earth scroll." Mei said tucking it in her waist band of her pants. Mei👇

"Let's split up. Jokiji use your camouflage jitsu and stay here in case anyone comes past, Mei you and I'll meet up back here okay?" I said

I hid behind a bush looking one of the mist village genin. (Not an original team, but I needed someone to go against y/n and her team so I made these people)

I couldn't tell if they had the earth or heaven scroll.

"We can't be standing out here in the open like this!" One of them hissed

"We have nothing to worry about the only ones dumb enough to mess with us are those little rookies." Another one said loudly

"They may be rookies but they're the best of the leaf village, and we shouldn't underestimate them." A female voice said
