Sorry for anyone who read the newest chapter and it ended in the middle of a sentence. Something's been going on with Wattpad, when I write a chapter over 1000 words it stops typing, and I had to copy and paste and I missed a part I guess and I'm supppppper soooorry! Anyway this is starting after Tsunade tells Lee about not being able to do anything, and he's on the bridge after Sakura gives him flowers.
Your POV
I watched as Lee held Sakura's flowers in his hand and seemed completely concentrated on them.
"Hey you abandoning that crush on me for Sakura?" I asked in a joking manner.
"Not in this lifetime." Lee said
"What's wrong? You seem a little dazed? Is recovery rough?" I asked
"It is nothing I cannot handle, so do not worry y/n." Lee reassured me
"Speaking of recovery, I just left the hospital and they say you've been late quite a few times." I said giving him a serious look
"It is not like physical therapy is helping me at all." Lee said pulling the petals off the flowers
"Lee I know I haven't known you very long but you don't seem like the type to skip out on physical therapy. Is something going on?" I asked with concern
"No, just sometimes I doubt I'm ever going to get through this." Lee sighed
"Lee don't say such things! What'll it take to get you to be on time again?" I asked
"Let me take you on a date! I will show you the refined gentleman I am!" Lee pleaded
"I...ugh, you see I can't." I said looking down
"That is alright. Someone like you would never go out with someone like me." Lee said sadly
"Its not that. Someone kinda confessed to me." I said looking him in the eyes
"Oh, so I guess that is why, do you like them back?" Lee asked
I paused and decided to tell the truth, it would only hurt him more if I lied right now.
"Yes I do." I admitted
"Is it Sasuke?" Lee asked
My eyes widened and my cheeks felt hot.
"Huh?! Ho-"
"It is very obvious he has feelings towards you, and everyone likes Sasuke and you are no different."
"Lee, I can't apologize for my feelings." I told him
"I know, and I am not mad at you, I only wish you felt differently." Lee explained as a tear fell of his chin.
"I have to go. Stop skipping out on therapy!" I warned
He nodded and I walked off.
