~Ashley's POV~
"I was talking to Ally yesterday and she told me about Jacob liking me!" My best friend Claire smiled.
"That's great, I totally called it" I bragged, as I took a sip of my root beer from the malls food court.
"Ya. you did" Claire replied. Claire's crystal blue eyes sparkled from the sunlight outside that gleamed from the malls windows.
"The sun is really bright" I stated, covering my emerald green eyes with my arm.
"Yeah it's blinding me!" Claire laughed. A beep went off from her iPhone that sat on the table beside her tanned arm.
"Shoot! I gotta get going my mom wants me home, I was suppose to be home 20 minutes ago!" Claire explained, getting up and collecting all her shopping bags that held her precious items.
"Ok I'll see you later then!" I hollered after her as she was already rushing to the exit. Claire's chocolate brown, silky hair swung back and forth as she rushed to the exit, she waved goodbye and then disappeared behind the corner.
I stood up grabbing my thick plastic green tray that held all my left over garbage on it and threw it out in the nearest garbage can. I made my way back to my table I sat at and collected my purse and phone and made my way to the exit as well.

I opened the exit door from the mall and then started for my way home. I looked down at my feet watching my black converses walk against the grey concrete, not paying attention to my surroundings; I felt to hands wrap around me and pull me into an alleyway.
"Let me go! Let me go! Help! Help, someone help me!" I screamed as loud as I could until I felt a cold clammy palm/hand cover my mouth. My mouth still open, I tried to bite this persons hand but instead of biting a finger or a hand I had bit a metal ring.
"Shhhh" the women/man hushed. I kicked and punched and squirmed but no matter what I did, their strength was greater than mine. Their grip tightened making me jump and the next thing I knew a hard object hit me over the head.
