"Welcome home!" She added. I looked around the room, I couldn't see a thing except for a single bed, a dresser with a mirror and a broken chair that laid in the corner of the room. I just wanna go home!

I looked around for a light when I saw a glimpse of a small walk in closet, I walked over to the small rectangular door, the room was hard to examine from in the dark but I tried my best to see. I moved my hands from left to right until the side of my hand hit the door knob making it fall off of the door and land on my foot.

"What was that?" I heard the women shout.

I backed away from the closet door and slowly tip toed threw the darkness towards the wooden door that led to this room, I put my ear against the door to get a better hearing of things.

"You better be laying down!" She yelled. I quickly rushed to the bed and turned onto my side facing the opposite direction of the door. I heard the door creak open and a shine of light seeped threw the little crack in the door.

My breathing became heavy, what if she spots the closet doors handle on the floor?

I felt her eyes burn into the back of my head. The door had shut and she left me alone in the dark. I sat up and noticed a lantern on the long dresser. I slowly raised up from the bed, I walked over to the dresser and carefully picked up the lantern, it was empty no candle..

I looked for the handles to the dresser drawers and then opened them one by one until I found a small cylinder candle that fit carefully into the lantern, now I need a lighter or matches.

Suddenly the door flung open, the light from outside shined into my eyes blinding me for a moment, I dropped the lantern and fell backwards into the wall, "Who are you?" A young teen about 15 I'm guessing asked. I didn't reply

"Auntie Nora! Who is this?" She hollered. Her names Nora! I have to remember that.

"That's my friends daughter, she is staying here for a bit!" Nora lied

"Oh it's nice to meet you, why is it so dark in here?" The young girl said.

"The light just burnt out so I was setting up the lantern so I could change the bulb" I explained. I put my hands against the wall so I could boost myself up.

"Oh need some help? I could help you!" She beamed. I shook my head

"Thanks but no thanks, you spend time with your aunt" I replied, the girl nodded and then shut the door.

What am I going to do now? I have to try and escape and deal with this girl too??
