Chapter 8-Ciel and Sebastian's Backstories

Ciel's Backstory

"Ciel come down here, dad has news!". Ronald called up to me.I bolted downstairs to meet the faces of my brothers and father.I looked at daddy's mournful face and my smile faded."Dad, what did you wanna tell us?" I looked over at me oldest brother as he said this.He had long, grey hair and wore a lot of grey clothing."Children, your mother has passed".Daddy bowed his head as he said this and tears welled in my eyes.I was only five years old when I heard that news. My dad was always busy so my brothers raised me. I admired my oldest brother but he moved away but I still admire him now. My dad taught me skills like how to organise money which I caught up on easily unlike my brother. The reason I hate my gender being specified is because of the school I went to before I moved to the school I have now. I've always been quite masculine but I thought I was recognisably a girl. I became very popular with the ladies but I didn't really know it was like that. I ended up hanging out with a group of girls and I got quite close to one. I was attacked in a unused classroom while they insulted me and yelled at me for making moves on their girlfriends. I told them I was a girl which only made them angrier. They said I was trying to turn the girls into lesbians and that I was wrong for being gay. They started assaulting me with torments whenever they saw me. All of my friends left me. Everyone thought I was gay when I wasn't and I still am not. I couldn't put up with it anymore and the next day I walked into school, fists flying  left, right and centre, connecting with any faces I could. I was expelled and I had to move to the new school. My bro picked me up from school and he gave me a proud look."Well done sis, you showed those bullies who's boss high five me".He held out his hand which I slammed my hand against. My dad grounded me for a month but I didn't care.

Sebastian's Backstory

Most of my life is normal with not much to talk about. I've always been quite popular at school but my home life is the weirdest. My mum is a religious nut who left my father because he was "sinful". My brother is a control freak and I hate him as he does whatever it takes to make me mad. I remember the day when I realised I liked Ciel. I walked home with Claude as we talked about our day. We get along when we aren't at home. I talked about Ciel and described them with deep admiration but little did I know mother was standing at the door, awaiting our arrival home."Sebastian Michaelis, we need to talk". I gulped as we entered the house."Claude, go up to your room". Claude left me alone with our psychotic mother as she spoke to me in her sickly sweet tone."Who is this Ciel Phantomhive you were talking about?". I looked down as I answered."Ciel is a new male student at our school. He just joined today and he is the brother of Mr Knox".I felt a hard slap across my face."You sinful child.I will not have a gay as a son.Go to your room now Sebastian!". She screeched at me as I ran to my room, her words echoing in my head. I want to leave this place and I will as soon as I get the chance.
