" My job is to take care of the possible and trust God with the impossible "Dr.Amanda Whitworth was frustrated as she crept up a hill with eight cars in front of her. They were stuck behind a slow-moving truck, and she was in a hurry. Amanda's last patient had needed more attention than was allotted for regular examinations and she was late leaving to pick up her daughter from day-school. Now she breathed a prayer that she would not be late again. It would be her third time, and because the day-school did not tolerate parental tardiness, she would have to make new arrangements for Allie's afternoon care.
Amanda silently fumed at the truck's progress. No one dared pass the truck on a long hill, as it was impossible to see oncoming cars around it. Suddenly, the truck driver waved his hand indicating that all was clear ahead. As Amanda zipped past him, it occurred to her that this man was probably a stranger to all who passed him ----- yet nine people trusted their lives and the lives of their families to this man.
What a tremendous picture of how we do all we can do and then must trust even the smallest details of our lives to the care of God ----- Who is a loving Heavenly Father. And how comforting to know He can always see exactly what's ahead!
