After I had spent quite  a while on my art project I decided I would much rather be doing anything else, and with that thought in mind I packed my sketch book up and began to walk through campus again, when I was stopped by a blonde and unfortunately it wasn't Victoria. Swan west stood there, she was wearing a white leather jacket and black jeans and her top read 'Princess' Oh how very...Swan.

Swan's eyes met mine and she smiled, but it didn't seem too genuine. "You must be Kate...Victoria mentioned you," she told me. I just nodded, and tried to walk around her. I really should have just continued to do my art project, because now that I had tried to walk away from that area it felt like I was about to go into an interrogation with the Ice Princess herself. "Hmm...whatever Victoria's told you about me, it's probably entirely inaccurate,"

I doubted that. she had kissed Victoria's now ex-boyfriend a couple nights ago, and that definitely didn't seem to be in her favour if she was trying to win me over as a friend.

"I hope that we can be friends," Swan put on another fake smile, which revealed her movie-star quality teeth.

 There it was.

"Uhm...sure," I lied, willing to say anything to just be able to get back to the dorm room.

"Okay good, here's my number," she said, as she passed me a piece of paper with her number scribbled on it. I turned my attention to Swan who's expression quickly changed as soon as she noticed I was looking at her. She spoke again "I'm having a party next week, you're welcome to come,"

"Thanks," I said.

"Ta ta,"  she began to walk away as I stayed stood there for a short while.

What in the name of what was that all about?

I decided to put the idea of the party out of my head for a moment as I walked back to my dorm and once I got in I immediately saw Victoria sat on her bed engrossed in another art-related book. She turned to me and gave me a small wave and then continued reading. I sat on my own bed for a little while until I couldn't hold back my speech any longer. "Uhm..Victoria," I started, she sighed and closed her book as she swiveled around on her bed to face me.

"Greene?" she asked.

"Listen, Swan-" Victoria sighed as she took off her reading glasses and put them away in their case.

"Oh great...what's she done this time?"

"She said that you lied about her doing anything to her- I know," I said, as Victoria gave me a face that read 'are you being serious?'

"She lies so much, I wouldn't take her word into account unless she was drowning or something...and even then-" Victoria looked thoughtful for  a moment as I guessed she was daydreaming about a way to get rid of her enemy.

"What did she do?" I blurted out.

"What did she do?" Victoria mimicked, I waited for her to resume speaking.

"Well firstly, I found out about her after one of my ex-boyfriends broke the news that he had been cheating both of us, so we became friends after that. I mean, it wasn't her fault as she had no idea at the time, but then Swan and I had our eye on the same guy and Swan got upset that he wanted to date me...at least, he did, until she well...once Swan became involved that guy and I were over...it all seems like harmless school drama, huh?"

I nodded. It really did, there was no need for Swan to get as bitter as an espresso and end up ending two of Victoria's relationships because she was jealous.

"It gets worse," Victoria stated.

Oh great.

"I had realised by this point that Swan wouldn't like me even if I tried, she was against me, and that's when the blackmailing started," Victoria looked down at the floor for a moment, and shuffled her shoes around.

Blackmailing? Over what?

"I'll leave it there," Victoria said as she turned around to lie down facing her wall.

I didn't press the conversation further because I didn't want Victoria to end up mad, instead I got up off the bed and spoke "Let's go do something this afternoon,"

"Like what?" Victoria asked, as she stayed laying down.

"I don't know...but I don't know how much longer my brain can take of working on my project," I admitted, Victoria got up off her bed at that point.

"Also...I feel like we could both deal with it seeing as Ice Princess is here,"

Victoria looked at her watch for a brief moment "Two hours, Greene. I guess I'll drive," she said as she headed out of the dorm, I followed her and we both walked the usual route to the parking lot to get into her car as I gave her instructions as to where I wanted to go. I just hoped she would like it. Eventually we parked and Victoria looked past me to the car window on my side of the car. "The cinema?"

I nodded.

"Well...if you insist," she said, yet she smiled so I knew she didn't have nay objections to my choice. Thank goodness.

We both got out of her car and headed inside and got tickets for a film that both of us had agreed on, it was about a photographer who got trapped in the scene of one of her photographs. It seemed odd, but I tended to enjoy the cinema more for the popcorn than any other aspect, Victoria bought her own slushy, and muttered a "That stuff tastes like polystyrene, but thanks for the offer," when I offered to share my large sweet popcorn.

Victoria could be so difficult sometimes.

"Uhh...chickenshit, please leave me alone. I asked you to give me a lift, a lift. Now shoo," said a blonde not too far from us, at first I thought it was Swan until I realised that it was Ricci, the girl Liam liked, he was stood next to her with an eyebrow raised. "Jesus, okay," he muttered as he raised his hands in front of him and started to walk away from her. He didn't seem to look too hurt, which was good, because Liam shoudln't date someone who spoke to him like that.

Victoria had seemed to notice the scene too as she turned to Ricci with a raised eyebrow "Ricci, that's seriously not cool," she said. Ricci just shrugged.

"No seriously, why bring people down who are only trying to be nice to you?" Ricci frowned this time, and it was her who left. Liam turned to us "Thanks, Tori," he grinned. Victoria smiled "It's whatever,"

"Liam, do you want to come see the movie with us?" I asked him.

"And thirdwheel? You know what...why the hell not?" Liam gave a short laugh as we headed in to take our seats.
