Jaythan or Nariana Short Story

Chapter 2: 2013 January

Jay's POV:

He said he likes me. Inside I was excited and wanted him. I wanted him next to me at all times, but I was scared so I blew it. Nathan always stays close to the other boys, and the few moments we are alone, he excuses himself for a phone call. I tried to talk to him, but he just avoids me. Siva noticed Nathan and I were distanced from each other so he asked me about it.

Why are you and Nathan avoiding each other? He asked me one day we were alone.

Nathan said he liked me, and I ran away. I rejected him because I don't want to come out to the world. I don't like hate. I explained to him as he nodded.

You shouldn't have run away. You should have told him that. Siva told me as I nodded.

I'm sorry. Was all I could say.

Don't apologize to me. Apologize to him, snd try to talk to him. Siva told me.

How can I talk to him if he avoids me? I asked as Siva stood up.

Try harder. If you really like him, you won't give up. Was all Siva said before leaving the room.

I thought about what Siva said before. Maybe I don't really like Nathan that way. Probably just my head messing with me. I thought as I too stood and walked away.
