Jaythan or Nariana Short Story

Chapter 6: June 2013

Jay's POV:

It was weird singing without Nathan. We weren't The Wanted with just 4 of us. Scooter told us he was making a comeback at the Summertime Ball. The plan was to sing a couple songs without him then he was going to come out in the long stage as a surprise for fans.

We sang a couple songs, and we stopped right before his solo in I Found You. Fans stared with confused faces, some staring at Max to continue. A couple seconds later, Nathan popped up and the silence turned into screaming.

Nathan's POV:

I popped up and stared at the crowd. I sang my solo and sang a couple other songs. My voice wasn't completely back, but it was healed just enough to sing a couple songs. The boys and I did a group hug onstage which earned more screaming. Later we had a small party with Nareesha, Kelsey, Jack, Ms. George, Kev, & a couple people we each invited.

I was praised on my comeback by everyone except Jay. I was going to talk to him to catch up face to face, but when I found him, he was dancing with a girl. Their mouths kissing each other forcefully. That pang of sadness and envy hit me so hard I said goodbye to Tom and Max saying I was tired. They waved me off, and I hailed a taxi. When I got home I just went to bed trying to forget mt stupid crush on Jay.
