"Here are your eyedrops to help your eyes a bit," my eye doctor said, giving me two boxes of different types of eyedrops. "and here are your new prescriptions. They are also a different brand, so maybe they'll help you with your dry eyes syndrome."
Gee, was I happy about that. The old brand was like a cheap knock off once I put on these new branded ones.
"Here are your new prescription glasses too." He handed me my black glasses, and I put them on since I didn't have my contacts in.
"Always use the green box whenever your eyes feel dry, and use the red box before and after you put on your contacts. If it still doesn't work, please feel free to tell us whenever." He smiled, before sending me out of the room.
"Thank you!" I said, before he shut the door on me.
"How'd it go?" My mom asked me.
"Do you not see how thick my lenses are? My vision is just getting worse and worse." I started to become scared. What if I have a disease or something, and they'll find out after I go blind?
"It's okay." My mom patted my back. I looked at her. Does she think i'm really doing okay? My glasses are freaking huge!

"Do you want to hang out with your friends today?" My mom suddenly asked me.
"Sure?"
"You'll be at home by yourself, and I don't trust you yet to stay home."
"But i'm almost 18!"
"Oh that's right, it's your birthday
month." My mom said, looking at the date and time on her car radio."Yup, today's June 1st!"
"I don't trust you."
"Why not?"
"You do stupid things."
"True. But my actions aren't stupid enough to go to jail."

I was then dropped off at the park, waiting for Jungkook, Jaesa, and Taehyung.
"Oh my, remember when Jungkook was supposed to ask Melody out to the winter formal?" I heard voices from behind.
I looked over my shoulder to see Taehyung walking in front of Jaesa and Jungkook. They looked like the three baddest kids in our city.
"Take out that stupid toothpick in your mouth, will you?" I chuckled.
"How's my best friend doing? We haven't talked in a while." Taehyung sat on my left side of the bench,as Jungkook sat on my right. Jaesa sat next to Taehyung.
"I'm doing good."
"That's nice to hear. How's our little Jungkook? Is he treating you nicely?"
"If he doesn't i'm going to taekwondo his butt." Jaesa lifted up her fists.
"You quit when you were 13!"
"And I also started at 13..." she confessed, which made all four of us laugh.
"So why'd you call us to meet us here?" Jungkook questioned.
"Well, my mom doesn't want me to stay at home alone, even though i'm almost 18!"
"Your moms being a good overprotective family member. Who would let their daughter alone at home with a boyfriend like me?" Jungkook said, running his fingers through his hair jokingly.
I hit him in his stomach.
