"Hey, Hinata-kun?" Komaeda asked, tapping Hajime's shoulder.
"Hm?" Hajime hummed, turning around.
He saw Komaeda standing there, his arm wrapped tightly around Chiaki's shoulders. They both wore huge, matching grins.
"Hi, Hajime." Chiaki said happily.
Hajime's eyes narrowed.
"What's all this about...?" He asked suspiciously.
"I wanted to ask you a favor." Komaeda said.
"...what?" He asked, though his eyes kept darting over to where Komaeda's arm rested on Chiaki's shoulders.
"I wanted to know if you would be my best man for our wedding!" Komaeda exclaimed excitedly.
"WHAT!" Hajime yelled, dropping the plastic cup he was holding. It's contents splashed all over his pants, but he didn't care.
"We're getting married, Hinata-kun!" Komaeda said, looking down at Chiaki with loving eyes.
"Mmhmm!" Chiaki said, looking up at Komaeda with the same love sick expression.
Komaeda chuckled and leaned down to kiss Chiaki. Right before they kissed, Hajime let out a horrified scream.
Hajime sat up in bed, panting heavily. His brow was covered in a thin layer of sweat.
He looked around and realized that he was back in his bed, and that the horrible, horrible nightmare wasn't real.
He let out a relieved sigh and threw off his blankets before standing up.
He quickly got dressed and headed over to the dining area to go meet with everyone else.
As he walked, he nervously looked around, still jittery from his nightmare.
'Calm down, it was just a dream.' He tried to reassure himself, even though it wasn't working very well. He didn't even know how his brain could come up with something so terrible. Even thinking about it filled him with despair.
'Heh, maybe this is another one of Monokuma's motives...' He thought bitterly.
Hajime was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the building until he rammed face first into it.
"Ow..." He groaned, pushing himself away from the door. He looked up and realized that it was the entrance to the cafeteria.
He sighed and rolled his eyes at his own stupidity, then he opened the door.
Inside was normal enough, everyone sat around talking and eating. However, when he noticed Komaeda's fluffy white hair, he also noticed Chiaki's small form standing next to him.
They weren't touching, hell, they weren't even standing that close, but the sight alone was enough to send him into panic mode.
With a speed he didn't even know he possessed, Hajime run over to them and promptly picked up Chiaki, then he glared at Komaeda.
"Morning, Hajime." Chiaki said, not even phased by Hajime carrying her.
"Hey, Hinata-kun." Komaeda greeted, also not phased.
"Stay away from Chiaki." Hajime spat. Then, without another word, he turned and left the cafeteria.
"So...um... What were you guys talking about...?" Hajime awkwardly asked.
"Why do you care?" Chiaki asked suspiciously.
"He wasn't trying to... Make a move on you, was he?" Hajime asked, lowering his voice for the last part.
Chiaki looked up at Hajime with wide eyes, then she started to giggle.
"You can be really clueless at times, can't you?" She asked, shaking her head.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Hajime said, defensively.
"Komaeda wanted advice so he could ask you out." Chiaki said.
It took a second for Hajime to register what Chiaki just said.
"...oh..."
