(A/N: I'm sorry for making this chapter very long, and maybe not really exciting. Though I'm planning to make this fanfiction to a Frodo x reader one, I thought it would be great, if I could introduce the character and showing her back-story. Also, it can happen that I use accidentally false names for the venues to the story, I actually haven't read or watched the story in English, but I'll do my best:) If it happens, I expect your help in the comment. Thank you in advance!)

- (Y/N): Your name

You just sat on your bed alone, lost in your thoughts while everyone else were in a big hurry, at least as an elf did that. But it can't be helped, Lord Elrond ordered you to pack up everything necessary, because you're going in 1 day. Where? Of course to the Undying lands: the Grey Havens.

You elves were always famous because of your immortality besides of your other noble skills. Although there's still one thing that you can't understand. Why now? After all your age also turns into 300 soon here. Ok, let's be realistic, you're turning to be 268 years old soon. However everything seemed to be so peaceful, but now somehow all this stuff turned upside down. The council doesn't let you be in the business of the outside world, or you at least. And this makes you more and more worried. Mostly after that you saw Arwen princess rushing on a white horse into the palace with an unknown being that you never saw before. Of course after that you didn't dare to ask around and somehow get to know what happened, because it would have made you nosy or just a simple idiot. You've heard that there are different creatures outside of Imladris, but because you've never gone through these walls, therefore you haven't gained any experience in this topic. You could have aspired to see what is over the walls, but you've never had any chance for that. The others could have told you to not even think about this stuff without avail, still, it was your biggest dream. You just couldn't be helped, you were different and you knew that too.

"(Y/N), are you ready?" stepped you mother into your room disturbing your thoughts. "My my, why haven't you finished the packing already? You know well, that we'll leave 2 hours later!" scolded you with crossed arms. "I can't believe that you're still behaving like a kid. Hurry up, and pack your stuff, because nobody will wait for you. You'll be left here at the end."

Of course as a good parent, she can piss you off in less than 1 minute. But instead of talking back aggressively, you just crossed your arm as well, and turned away. "I wouldn't even regret that. At least I could finally see what's outside.." you said it quietly, maybe even hoping that she won't hear it.

"Ah don't start this again. You don't want to see what is outside. Because all you will see is just death and suffer. It's not for such pure Elf ladies like you or me."

You immediately turned back your head towards your mom, and talked back with maybe a bit too intensely. "How can you say that?! I'm sure there are beautiful worlds too that would welcome me with open hands! –"

"Maybe, but not now!" she also raised her voice "Not in these times. And we have to go, this place is not for us."

"But why? You just never tell me anything! Everyone just keeps their secrets.." you complained resentfully.

"Don't forget, that you don't need to know everything, it's not your duty. Just be like everyone else, and don't meddle with other people's business." she sighed and turned her back to you "Just pack up. We're leaving at 6 o'clock, and I finished this conversation." then she opened the door and left you in the room alone, and you unsatisfiedly laid back on your back with an angry groan. Of course they keep their secrets. Of course that you are that one who nobody wants to tell anything, and so you need to guess the pieces of the storylines. Your whole life was a big mystery so far. Even your parents.. were not those who you thought first. They adopted you, because you real parents died long time ago, when you were just a baby. Yet, every time you tried to somehow get to know who could have been your real parents, nobody told you anything, pleading that they didn't know them at all. All what you were 100% sure in, was that you're different. It can be already seen in your appearance. You're shorter that everyone else, besides your long blond curly hair is not even similar to anyone you know. There was time when you'd tried to search after your ancestry, but you'd given up soon, because even your best friend thought that maybe you should just give up. (A/N: what a great friend right?) So you finally leave it for a while, but the question is still floating in front of your eyes every time: 'Who were my real parents?'
