I woke up before my alarm. Two minutes until I had to get ready. I decided to just get it over with. I pulled the covers over my body and swung my legs off the bed. Today would be the first day of school for me, yet it was the end of school for everyone else who lived in the town. I splashed my face with cold water to wake me up a little. I threw on some overhalls, a white tee and a red bandana. I was lacing up my sneakers and thinking about how today would go. I really didn't like being unaware or used to things. I was really self consciouse about what people would think of me. "Sage, come on your gonna be late!" I heard my mom scream from the kitchen. I ran down the stairs and sat at the table. My dad
was gone, he never really stays to socialize with us. I grabbed some toast finished eating and ran out to the bus stop. There was only two kids waiting. One was super thin, with glasses and a cap on. The other was tall and Hispanic, he wore a flannel shirt. I stopped walking when their was a good distance between me and the two boys. The one with glasses was faced towards me. He was short, shortier then the other one. He had buck teeth and a distinct forhead. He gave me a weird look and laughed.
The hispanic one turned to face me. He shot me a glance with his light hazel, tough looking eyes before he turned around and continued to talk to the boy with the glasses. Three minutes passed until the bus pulled up. It was a little akaward. I just stood there and stared at my feet. They didnt really agknoledge me the rest of the time. When I got on the bus everyone was staring at me. I didn't like it. I started to walk down the ahile and look for a seat. I stopped infront of one girl and tried to put my bag down. She looked at me and laughed. I squinted me eyes at her and continued to walk. I sat in the middle of the bus. In an empty seat. I looked around and saw the boy with glasses at the end of the seats. He was with a lot of other boys. They were joking and screaming. I could tell they were all real good friends. I noticed the hispanic one staring out the window not really paying attention to them. "Benny, man were over here." One said waving his hand infront of his face. The kid snapped out of it and started paying attention to the boys jokes and rambling. I turned around and leaned against the window. What was he thinking of? I ignored the question and began to think of the day ahead of me.
