"Mulan! What are you doing?" my mother called to me. I was standing there contemplating my existence right now. What lie could I come up with? Because my parents are muggles, I didn't tell them I was going to go to Hogwarts. Why? Because I didn't want to disgrace the family name. "Well mother. I was going to the store to get some things then I came home to pack those things so that I could go to..." I said. I couldn't think of a good place as a lie. My mother didn't answer for what felt like forever. This was enough time for me to choose a place. " China. I am going to visit grandma in China." I told my mom. It was perfect idea because I actually wrote a letter to grandma saying to not tell my mother so this was perfect. "Oh alright you have a point. Okay you can finish packing then you need to make dinner. Your father will be home soon." my mom said. Once she walked down the hall and went to the kitchen, I felt good. That was so clever of me. How come I had to wait to tell her I was going to grandmas when I really wasn't?
