Chapter 12

My PoV

It was the weekend and Joshua was picking me up to hang out for the weekend. I was waiting outside the apartment I live in and was texting on my phone. Soon enough I hear a car horn, I looked up and chuckled. Joshua got out of his car and walked over to me.

"Hey nerd." I say

He chuckled. "Hey." he replied

We went to his car and drove to his place. I was humming to myself until Joshua spoke up.

"Hey Kimi.." He said

I blinked. "Yes?" I respond

"When we get to my place. I have some video games set up for us." He said

I nod. "Cool."

After ten more minutes we finally arrived.

"Nice place you got here." I say

He smiled a bit. "Thanks."

We were enjoying ourselves then my phone buzzed with a weather notification.

"Why..." I silently say

"What is it?" Joven asked

"Well-" I could barely finish my sentence when a huge downpour came down.

We checked the news quickly and the rain would last until tomorrow afternoon.

Joven's PoV

"Looks like I'm stuck here..." she said while texting her friends

I just looked at her. She put her phone on the table.

"Well since I'm stuck here..what shall we do?" she joked

" A movie?" I suggest

"Yeah!" she said

After a bit she was leaning on my shoulder while we were watching the movie. Should I count this as a blessing? After ten more minutes my phone buzzed and it was my sister.

Kaylee- hey bro um with the weather this bad, I'll be staying at Courtney's!

Me- Alright!

Live's PoV

I checked my phone. "Hey guys Kimi is stuck at Joven's place."

"The weather ships them." Ruby laughed

We all broke into laughter. 

"Wait does she even have a change of clothes?" Lily asked

"Oh...shit." Wy said

"I'm sure...Joven might have something.." Lily said

"Ehhhh"  I reply

We were all just now cooking some food for ourselves.

" I wonder if Kimi will be okay." Wy said

The rest of us shrugged.
