MICHAEL'S POV:

Jesus Christ. I've got to get out of here. Fast! I still can't forget her. Her smile. It's so beautiful. So precious......

NO! I should stop thinking about it. Wait, where am I going? I don't know where the heck I am now. I should probably head out and go to the field. Waste my time looking at the students and brainstorm for the band's practice later. My band's pretty great actually. We just started making songs and we basically perform it in front of our Mums. Oh right... let me tell you how we were formed.

One day.... No wait. Screw that. Uhm. Okay. One beautiful and sunny Sunday, we arrived here in Sydney. My mum has a lot of friends in different countries and I guess we were pretty lucky that they found a home just for us. Mum's friend was there outside the airport waiting for us. We loaded our bags and drove off.

While travelling, they kept talking and telling stories to each other. And after a few minutes, Liz turned to me and asked how I was. "I'm good, Mrs. Hemmings. It's pretty chilly here huh?" I told her. "Yes, it's the time of the year again. By the way, you will love the neighbourhood. It's lovely! You'll have fun!" she told me. "Really? That's awesome. Oh, that excites me." I replied faintly. "That's good to hear then! Tell me Michael, what are you into? You seem to be a shy, quiet kid!" she told me, but right before I was able to speak, my mum answered for me, "Well yes! But he's quite pretty amazing. Loves to play music and guitar. He would always sing to me." she said while looking back at me, smiling. My mum has the most beautiful smile in the world and it would often lift my spirit up. "That's lovely! Speaking of music, my son, Luke, he enjoys singing too. He plays guitar as well. You boys should hang out! I'm pretty sure you'll get along." I nodded and smiled at her in the rear view mirror.

After a couple of minutes of travelling, we reached the house. We unloaded the bags. And went to the porch. I also found out that they lived next to us. It's quite a good thing actually. At least I know someone already.

We entered the house to settle down. I went upstairs to check the rooms, and to pick my bedroom. I chose the third room from the stairs. The room was big. It's got a huge window, and I have my own bathroom. Sweet. I placed my bag on top of my bed and I lied down. I started thinking things. I started questioning myself, if I'm gonna enjoy the neighbourhood, if I'm going to enjoy school, if ever I'm going to have friends in school or what I also asked myself if Luke and I are really going to get along, if we could sing together or what. Then I felt my eyes slowly closing, my breath getting heavier. I gave in. I dozed off.

"Michael! Michael, honey? Are you awake?" I woke up to the sound of my mum's yelling. I opened my eyes and I found out that it's evening already. I must have been so tired from the flight. I decided to go down and see what's happening. "Hey honey, Liz invited us over dinner. I said we'll come." she starts off. Damn it. I don't want to get out of the house. I wanted to rest. "But mum, I'm tired. I don't want to go to their house." "But Mike, I already told her yes. And besides, they helped us look for a house. So I accepted her invitation." she insists. I finally agreed to go over their house. I realized, Mum was right.

We went over and we were greeted by a sweet, smiling Liz and her husband. "Hello Karen and Michael. I want you to meet my husband, Andrew." We exchanged greetings and smiles. "Come on over, the dinner is ready." We followed them inside. God. They have such a nice house. The fireplace is nice. Everything was nice. I saw some of their pictures. They are a family of 5. They've got 3 sons. Hmm. Their family photo looks great.

We sat down with them. Everyone prayed. I'm not used to it so I stared at them do it. I could say that they're close with each other. After the prayer, Liz smiled and looked at us. She introduced me and my mum to their sons. "And finally, this is Luke. You know Luke, Michael likes to play guitar and sing too. Karen here told me that Michael would often sing to her." Liz told. I was so shocked. I never thought Liz would be telling this to everybody. "You and Michael should hang out since you share the same passion." "Ah really Michael? That's awesome! I have my guitar here. Let's hang out after we eat!" he told to me while smiling. I guess the idea of the whole hang out thingy made him excited. But hey, I was excited too.

We hung out. Man, Luke was so great. He's got a really great voice. I found out that we like the same bands. We like the same genre. We exchanged songs while playing the guitar. I had such a great time. He told me I should go meet his bestfriend, Calum. He told me that Calum is a guitar player and a singer too. I'm excited for the next day already.  There's only one thing that made me sad, he attends a different school. I've no one to talk to at school. But I don't care. We get to hang out everyday after school. He told me we should do that.

So yeah, I just told you how I arrived here and my first meeting with my first bestfriend, Luke. Yeah. I already see him as my bestfriend since we hung out everyday before the school starts. But don't get me wrong ha, I see Calum as my other bestfriend too although I wouldn't be so detailed about it. The bottom line is: we share the same passion and we like the same bands!

Well since I still have 20 minutes left before my next class starts, I should go write a song. Hmmm. I can't think of something. I wonder what could be a good topic about it? ................... Wait, I felt the benches shaking. Someone's walking towards me. I saw the person's legs and shoes. Who the fu---

"Hi."

I couldn't feel my lips. She's standing right in front of me.
