As I was walking down the beautiful lights of Tokyo's buildings holding my mom's hand feeling safe but that ended in a flash...my mother was captured along with myself holding onto her tight.

I was pulled away from her...as i watched my mother being eaten alive infront of my young eyes.

...that's when I realized...I was all alone in this harsh world...full of man eating humans who had no choice to eat humans to stay alive...

Soon I felt myself running to the only person I knew who also cared for me...my older sister and my aunt.

As I reached my house I ran to my older sister crying and hugging her as I heard my aunt coming in the living room from the kitchen

"What's wrong sweetie?!?!" My aunt kneeled down to my height concerned on why I came home without my mother.

My eyes filled with no life "......mommy was eaten........by a human....." my voice filled with fear and no meaning

".......ghouls........" my older sister said with realization on what I said

"It couldn't be that........would it?" I nodded as a responce to her question

" they were........eating her flesh like it was a price of yummy cake......." I felt broken as if I was in a lot of darkness and loneliness

* time skip to the next day *

"Hey rosey...we want you to meet kaneki and his mother, say hello" my aunt smiled at me

"Hello..... nice to meet you....." I felt my sister push me infront of kaneki

" h-Hi...I'm k-kaneki...nice to meet you to..." kaneki smiled shyly

" I'm rosey...I like your name..." I held out my hand for him to shake it

"T-thanks...I like your name to..." he shook my hand and I smiled a little feeling color spearing in my eyes
