Don't Leave Me

the promise

__kaneki's pov__

It's been years since I saw rosey's beautiful,happy face...ive been waiting for the day when she'll come back and we'd see eachother again

But I really don't know when she will come back...

As I walked in to anteiku I saw hide talking to a girl at our age and drinking coffee

Hide noticed me and motioned his eye's to me and the girl, so I walked up to them and the girl noticed me

"K-kaneki?" Said the girl looking like she was about to cry, then I noticed that she wasn't any ordinary girl...it was rosey

She got up and hugged me, she was wearing a grey jacket and at the top of her dress was flower print and the bottom was a really light pink color and she had grey boots on

I hug her back, her soft black brown hair covered the left side of her face

She pulled back her hair and smiled "I told you I was going to come back, I kept my promise" she sat back down and motioned to the seat next to her

I sat on the seat next to her and ordered a Frappuccino and we talked but then the girl I had my heart set on came in and sat down on a diffrent table then us 

"Hey kaneki, which one of  these chicks are your special lady friend!" He whispered to me pink covered my cheeks

"Shut up! She comes here all the time so I don't wan't to ruin my chance on asking her out" I whisper back to him and glanced at her and a piece of her hair covered her glasses but then she pulled her hair back

Then she noticed I was looking at her and smiled, I looked away blushing a little

"Kaneki? Are you okay?" I nodded and smiled to reassure that I was fine

She looked a little hurt when I glanced at the girl I love "you must like that girl with the glasses...don't you..." she looked out the window

"ya...I...I do..." she looked more hurt than usual "well i must be going...i have to unpack my stuff..." she left to go talk to the girl at the cash register and left

"You hurt her feelings, didn't you see the pain written all over her face...she came back to see us...not to get hurt all over again..." I looked at hide and thought about the moment she told me she was leaving

"my aunt.....got a new job....in japan...." I dried of my tears "really....that means....you won't be here....any more?....

"me to..." I let go of him and kissed his cheek lightly

"I better get going....before my aunt goes looking for me....I promise to come back....bye...." I left running tears streaming down to my chin

*le time skip!!*

__rosey's pov__

"Hey, touka, I'm going to unpack my stuff and when your done we can go hunting..." I looked at the counter

"Your in a mode, okay I'll go with you when I'm done with my shift" I nodded and left to go unpack

When I reached my apartment I heard screaming

I followed the screams and saw kaneki half to death and rize about to eat him while

But then I jumped into where the giant beams were hanging and cut the rope with my kagune, which was holding the beams and fell on top of her making her die instantly

I called the ambulance and jumped down and acted like nothing happened and walked to my apartment

"Please...don't die kaneki..." I went to my room and unpacked my stuff and put my stuff in order

"Hey rosey! Are you ready to go hunting?" I put on my shorts,a big t-shirt,my convers,and a sweater

"Yeah, let's go..." we walked out the door and locked it so we wouldn't get robbed, seriously no one who just moved in wants to get robbed

"so what's up, you seem hurt when you talked to me?" I put my hands in my pocket

"Well I just came back to see my friends again mostly kaneki, but today he kept staring at rize and I thought they had a thing so I didn't say anything about it...to him..." I looked down at my shoes

"dont worry, if he hurts you I will-" I covered her mouth and glared at her 

"no, you can't kill nor hurt him! He's my friend...I don't think he relised he hurt my feelings..." I looked through an alleywayand saw a guy on the phone

"Lurk in the shadows?" I asked touka

"Lurk in the shadows" we became the darkness and we watched him a little and touka let her kagune out and i did the same and I nodded as a signal

She attacked the guy and we ate his flesh and I tried to not to get blood on my clothes

"I feel much better!" I smiled and then remembered I forgot to buy some books at the book store

"Glad to hear that, well I'm tired, let's go and have a good night's rest" I checked the time and went the other direction

"I need to go buy some books, I won't take long I'll catch up with you," she nodded and I ran to the book store and bought a few books and walked back to my apartment

"hey there,your all alone, would you like us guys to give you a good time" he smirked, my eyes went red and my kagune came out and i sliced the guys' face 

I left with not one single drop of blood on my clothes! I saw my apartment building and went inside and opened my apartment door

"I'm back! I'm going to sleep!!" I saw touka drinking some coffee and acting like she didn't care

"Welcome home,I made you some coffee, if you want some" I drank my coffee and went to my room and fell asleep

Woow This was a long chapter and I also want to dedicate this chapter to GloomGamer cause this was another part of her idea, thanks by the way, I hope you read this, oh ya, I'm going to update only friday,Saturday,and sunday so I might update late tomorrow cause I have a dentist appointment tomorrow so early
