*Luke's POV*

It was another day which meant school. School was already kicking my butt with the amount of homework I was getting, but being around my best friend and my girlfriend made everything better. I already been going out with Aria for a week, but have already gotten to know each other a lot more. I was quite glad about that. Aria seemed happy in this relationship, even though she still sometimes felt bad about cheating on her ex. We still decided to keep things on the down low, which meant kissing outside of school and not holding hands. It was hard, but we got through that. She was in a few of my classes as she was quite smart herself so we always sat together and we always did partner work together, not trying to be bias here, but I wanted her as my partner, not because she's my girl, but because we worked well together. A lot of people in that class were slackers, which meant me always doing the work, but with her, I knew she would do her work and I would do mine. In other cases if you were working with your girlfriend she would want you to do all the work, but with Aria I didn't have that issue.

I walked into the school with her. She was over at my house the night before as we were finishing up a huge assignment and we finished it early in the morning so she slept over. No, we haven't "slept" together. I'm not close to that commitment yet. I am scared of commitment actually. I didn't have much experience, but I still seemed to go to Calum for that. He knew about girls, he knew how dating works. It was odd as he was only in a few relationships and messed them all up. That sounded just like him, all of those girls realized that he was becoming a jerk and dumped him. Nothing against him, but he can be an ass. But the fact that he was dating the teacher or not sure what to call it, concerned me. It concerned our whole group. He was smart, but I didn't think he would be this stupid. Especially since A is on our back now and I feel paranoid pretty much everyday of my life. I never knew that something like this would happen to us as my life was just going normally, but then A happened.

Yawning rather loudly, but Aria doesn't seem to notice, I head over to my locker. I had to get ready for my first class, but I was half awake. I only got a few hours of sleep and it was killing me. I couldn't do this. I just couldn't. Aria didn't get much sleep either, but she had coffee which forces her to be awake more. The thing was, coffee wasn't much of my thing, but I did have it sometimes. When I was in the mood for it. I preferred tea or soda more. Aria was more of the coffee person, but she did like tea too. Especially iced tea.

I slowly do my locker combination and when it opened, I put some books into my locker and took other books out. I still managed to finish my homework, but the load of homework I got every night so far was killing me. So much for being so smart, but still having time to hang out with friends and having a girlfriend.

"Penguin," That was Aria's pet name for me. On most days, I loved it, but I was falling asleep and I could barely hear what she was saying. She touched my shoulder with one of her hands and I woke up instantly. Her touch had that affect. "Lukey."

"What?" I yawn and say sleepily, as I look at her. I blink several times.

"You need to stay awake. I could give you a sip of my coffee," Aria was so generous, standing there holding her coffee and offering it to me, but she knew I didn't want it.

"Thanks for the offer, but no..." I start closing my eyes again and she takes my hand.

"What about Redbull or something?" I open up my eyes slowly when she said that. It was bad, but if I was desperate, I would drink that.

"You have that?" I asked her, surprised.

"Remember we stopped at the store before school." Now I remember. I was falling asleep near the vegetables and didn't remember where I was.
