Ryan's pov
Today was the day I was finally going to ask her to be my girlfriend, and trust me when I say this, I was super nervous.
Y/n was her name. She was a special girl who worked at the coffee shop that I went to all of the time. Honestly, I only went there to see her. She had h/l h/c
and amazing e/c that sent butterflies in my stomach. I know, I know, it's super dumb for a guy to say that, but it is certainly true.I walked in the coffee shop and she was nowhere to be seen. I checked behind the counter, but she wasn't there either. I sat at a booth by myself, resting my head in my hand.
Suddenly, the doors burst open as someone who looked like the manager stepped out of his office. Then I saw her. She was the one who burst through the door. She rushed over to him, looking frightened. I heard them talking so I leaned in closer to hear what they were saying.
"We're have you been, y/n! You are 30 mins late!" He screamed at her. She looked even more scared and used a clear table to catch herself from falling.
"I know, I'm sorry. There was a personal emergency with my-" she started, quietly, but he cut her off with a slight shove. I tensed. I wanted to help, but I couldn't find myself to get the energy to do anything.
"I do NOT care what happened, nor do I WANT to know! You were late and that's all that matters! You are fired! Get your things out of my office and leave!" He yells at her, while turning around.
"But sir, please just give me a chance-"
He whirls around and shoved her into the wall, hard. Tears filled her eyes and she let out a small cry. This is when I finally found the courage to do something.
I stood up and walked over to him, raising my fist. I swung and hit him in his temple, knocking him out. By now, half of the shop was staring. I didn't care, though.
He fell to the ground and I stared at him, unable to do anything else. Y/n walked over to me, and stared intently into my eyes for a few seconds, then throwing her arms around my neck and whispered, "Thank you."
I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist. We stayed this way for a few minutes until she pulled away and took my hand, quickly rushing of the shop.
"What about-" I started but she cut me off by saying, "Never mind that."
She lead me around the town, as if looking for a certain spot until, finally after about 15 minutes of walking in silence, we reached a beautiful garden where nobody was at. She dragged me over to a small bench and looked at me.
"Thank you, again, Ryan."
"How do you know my name?" I asked. She grinned slyly and slowly leaned in to kiss me, which I eagerly kissed back
"You came in everyday. You think I didn't pay attention to you?" She whispered against my lips. I smiled and kissed her.
"So... can I take you out on a date this Friday?" I asked awkwardly. She giggled and nodded. We stayed in eachothers arms for a while. She finally pulled away and said "I should probably leave now, but here is my number, in case you want it." She scribbled her number on a scratch piece of paper with a pen and handed it to me.
"I will text you tonight," I said with a flirtatious smirk. She smiled widely and nodded while saying,"okay," in a soft voice. She waved and walked away.
I immediately pulled out my phone and entered her number. Then I called my best friend, Brendon Urie.
"Hello?" He said as he answered my call.
"Dude, you will not believe what just happened."
