Lauren P. O. V
I held my breath, my palms sweaty as I heard people calling my name. I held tighter to the baseball bat, trying to hit the dinosaur with the bunch of candies, my paradise.
I kept laughing with every miss, I bit my lips, holding tighter, I took in a deep breath, praying silently to hit it.

I did.

The candies fell and I did a perfect cartwheel, after removing the blind folds.
I tossed the candies in the air, biting my lips, sucking in a deep breath.

"Lauren, oh my, grow up, will you".
"Grow tall". I retorted to my best friend Daniel, who watched me with amazement. He was right, but again I don't care. His blue eyes piercing into my hazel eyes.

He was only like 2 inches taller than me and I was 5. 5, so do the maths.
"You, grow tall". He spat, walking away, clearly defeated.

I tossed my hands in the air, sticking my tongue out, and waving those hands in the air, like I don't just care.
"Lauren Scarlett Scott, get your butt to the car". My dad laughed, I had totally ruined my cousin birthday, with the whole jumping into paradise.

********

I jumped out of the car, standing in the familiar warm but small house and It was my home anyway.

"Last to reach your room is a loser". Daniel hit my arm, before running.
"Dude, you lost already, because you've always been a loser". I yelled, running after him, while trying to control my laughter.

Daniel is staying over for some while if you're asking...

I jumped on the bed before being attacked by a rather angry Daniel, I laugh as he tried to be angry.
"You my friend is a loser". I laugh, not acknowledging his face. This position would be highly awkward if this was a movie as his black hair kept falling to his face and his hands were placed firmly at both side, making me trapped.

"You're my best friend, so you're a bigger one". That statement made me to push him off, laughing so hard as he groaned.

" You really suck Matthew". I reminded him before getting up and running in for a warm shower.
