ㅡ章 ; kim taehyung

taehyung headed towards the shop he saw yeojin sitting in. she slid her finger over the rim of her cup filled with hot coffee. the steam whirled into the air. he walked inside and slowly made his way to yeojin before speaking up.

"hello!" he greeted her enthusiastically. "how long have you been waiting?"

"not long, but even if i was i'd forgive you because you had to find me." she says. wrapping her cold hands around the china mug, taehyung ruffled his light brown hair.

yeojin sipped on the steaming beverage and exhaled in contentment. taehyung showed a different emotion with his pout, "you didnt order me a drink?"

"taehyung, your not a kid. plus i dont know what you like." he quickly forgot about his disappointment and grinned at her. "you're right!"

he hopped out of his seat and walked over to the cashier. leaving yeojin all alone. taehyung ordered himself a simple, black coffee. it was the drink he usually had considering his long, sleepless nights. he hoped one day that would all change, but he couldnt help but feel that he needed yeojin to help him. weird.

the cashier had light brown hair, much like his. but she had pale skin and doe eyes that were outlined with jet-black eyeliner. her lashes were long and curled upward to face the sky. she had lips that looked like that resembled a heart. a dark green apron wrapped around her x-line frame. she was perfect. taehyung rarely saw a girl that was societies view of perfection, he had only just witnessed what he considered perfection. "a black coffee for kim taehyung?" she said.

taehyung quickly hopped over to the counter were the cashier held his drink. "thank you so, so much!" he grinned happily. she giggled. "what?"

the deep-voiced male turned to look at yeojin, he thought about her. she probably wouldnt care about the fact this ugly girl called him cute, as hard as it was to say. but that didnt mean taehyung was giving up. just...maybe it would be good to have a back-up? you know, in case yeojin threw him away like all the others. or if he...threw her away. just like he did...

"thank you!" he twiddled with the first digits of each of his hands. the amount of guilt he would feel after...he scheduled this date and he was about to ask another girls number? tsk...how much worse could he get? "my number is on the cup." she smiled innocently. he looked down and nodded his head in acceptance.

"jesus christ, what took so long? where you ordering drinks for the whole of south korea?" yeojin huffed and she put her cup back on the table. taehyung noticed the difference between the two. she had a china mug, and he has a paper cup. "no, but that sounds like a good thing to do, especially considering all the homeless people."

yeojin pursed her lips. she knew if she scolded him for taking long, or for being 'stupid' she'd seem a bad person. plus, she didnt want to upset him. "i guess."

taehyung grinned widely and cheekily at yeojin. a small smile crept on her lips. "your smiling!" he jumped out of his seat and pointed directly at yeojin's smile. it quickly vanished. "taehyung, sit down."

arms flew about and hips swayed—taehyung was dancing like a maniac. yeojin facepalmed the table. the pain didnt even get to her, but fuck damn the embarrassment did. "taehyung. can you please sit fucking down?" her voice was mumbled as her head still made contact with the wooden table.

"of course." he smiled again. why was he smiling? yeojin literally swore at him in the worst manner? she shook her head. whatever. then again, it was taehyung and almost everything made no sense with him. so why keep asking questions? "so, what does my yeojin want to do now?" he grinned.

"your yeojin?" she asked in a confused tone. expecting some sort of stupid, taehyung-like remark, he actually said something pretty mature. "is it too hard to accept i wanna start calling you mine now?" yeojin blushed and that set him off again.

"did yeojin just blush? did i, taehyung, make you, yeojin, blush?!" he mocked. "how incredible."

the flushed girl got up and smacked him on the arm. "let's go already." she demanded. "well, you never said where?" he replied. "so?"

they both sat on a rock, staring towards the sunset and its warm, comforting beauty. "its crazy how the sun gets bigger the closer it is to leaving our sight." taehyung murmured. "i never noticed that." yeojin replied.

"and how many times have you been here?" he smirked sarcastically. "shut up!" she whined. they both were feeling pretty great right now. nothing had gone wrong for either of them all day, but maybe one good day wouldn't make up for the awful years they had. though, maybe one person could?

yeojin leaned back on her elbows, closing her eyes and throwing her head back to let the last of the heat warm her face and neck. taehyung turned to admire her features, the way her lips turned down at the corners and parted naturally in the center, how her eyelashes were long and covered in days-old mascara, and the soft look of her skin. she was mesmerising, he just wanted to trail his finger across her jaw and pull her face close to his, her hair entangled in his fingers.

she looked into his eyes. he looked into her eyes. and their lips locked together, moulding together like clay to create a beautiful masterpiece; a loving kiss. taehyung leaned further into the act of romance, causing yeojin to come back with as much force; their heads moved against each other with the movement of their lips. they parted. breathing heavily. yeojin laughed, taehyung laughed — they both laughed.

one month is all it takes to fall in love, two is all it takes to sleep over, three to sit on the rocks at the beach and kiss them. with all the love you created, all the times you met, all the times you stared at them, all the times you dreamt of them and wished them to be yours. to mkiss that person with everything you have, need and want. everything.
