One shot: I stared at the clock, willing it to go faster. Anastasia Parkinson and her gang of brainless bimbos were laughing at Frank and I, trying to get us to fight back just so they could get a laugh. Like always, Professor Slughorn remained oblivious to the teasing that happened at the back of the classroom.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class, and I sighed in relief as I packed up my bag and set off to the Great Hall for lunch.

"Oi! Weasley!" I heard a nasally voice call. I rolled my eyes. Great.

"Let's go, Lucy," Frank's worried voice said. "Before they torment us anymore."

Something inside me stirred. Why should I have to fear her and her cronies? I should be able to go wherever I want to, not having to hide behind my family if I saw one of them.

"No!" I snapped. Frank jumped, surprised at my tone. "We can't let her get to us. I'm going to go give her a piece of my mind!"

Without waiting for him to say anything, I swiveled around and stalked up to her.

"What do you want Anastasia?" I tried to sound mean, but my insides were slithering.

She raised her eyebrows. "Is the pathetic little Weasley fighting back for once in her sorry life?"

"Not as pathetic as yours, bullying others to make yourself feel better. You don't have any self respect, so you berate others to boost your confidence."

She sucked in her breath angrily. I was so close to her, I could smell the cheap perfume she doused herself in every morning to mask her stench.

"What did you say to me, you filthy half-blood?"

I narrowed my eyes. "You heard me. I said that you are an attention seeking whore that benefits on the misfortune of others!"

"You tell her Luce!" I turned to see James, Freddie, Roxy, Lily, Hugo and Molly. All of them were cheering me on, and I felt a surge of confidence. Molly looked absolutely livid.

"Oh yeah?" Anastasia sneered. "And what are you? You're just a sorry loser, overshadowed by your cousins. You're not good at anything, you little freak. Probably inherited it from your disgusting muggle mother."

I heard the angry gasps of my cousins and something inside my snapped. I brought my fist back and punched her in the nose as hard as I could. She shrieked out as ruby red blood dropped from her nose like a waterfall.

"Woo-hoo! Go Lucy!" I heard Freddie yell. I couldn't believe what I had just done, but I didn't regret it.

With one last murderous glare, Anastasia stormed away, hand still clutching her (hopefully) broken nose.

"Miss Weasley!" I heard a shrill voice scream. It was Professor Mcgonagall. "I can't believe that you just punched Miss Parkinson! Out of all the Weasleys, it was you?"

I smiled sweetly. "Sometimes people tend to surprise you, Professor."

Her nostrils flared. "Detention! And a note home to your parents!"

She hurried off, and I heard her muttering about prefect parents.

I shrugged. It was worth it. I walked back to my family and was greeted by claps on the back by James, Roxy, and Freddie, and got hugs from Lily and Hugo.

Molly smiled at me. "I have never been prouder to be your sister, Luce."

I smiled back. "I don't think Parkinson is going to be bothering me anymore."

"I think you're right."

Later that week, I got my first ever howler. It was awesome.

A/N: I know the thing about Anastasia's last name being Parkinson doesn't make sense because Pansy is a girl, and she would have changed her last name, (which is stupid, because girls shouldn't have to change their last name after marriage, so maybe it does make sense), but whatever. (^-^)
