When Lucifer Finally caught up To me he led us to a small cafe on the next block. It had a section outside to sit by with small round tables that had an umbrella in the centering of each protecting the customers from the sun.
The outside area was cute and I wanted to sit here but Lucifer ignored the look on my face when I motioned to a table and walked into the cafe. Rolling my eyes I follow him inside and he motioned for us to sit in a secluded area in the corner. No surprise.
The cafe was kind of packed and looking around I noticed everyone acting normal. Meaning they weren't cowering away from our table and the bowing ceased. We were barely noticed but the few girls that did notice us eye raped lucifer.
Pfft women.
Seated across from lucifer I rest my elbows on the table and stared at him. " So people aren't scared of you anymore " "well this annoying girl complained about it so I decided to reel in my power. Now, princess what do you want to eat" he flashed me a quick smile.
Choosing to ignore the annoying girl comment. " er pancakes, hot coco , a Muffin ? I wouldn't mind anything really." And with that he got up to order.
With The pleasant atmosphere the day was off to a good start.
Filling the seat across from me wasn't Lucifer but a different guy I haven't seen before. Not knowing if he was someone from my past or someone new I waited for him to have the first word.
"Hey I'm Jackson." Ahh he's someone new then. Looking at his face he is cute in an adorable kind of way.
"I'm Ariel " saying that for the first time seemed so foreign to my tongue. It felt wrong meaning I probably wasn't Ariel. "Nice to meet you so maybe you want to get a coffee ? With me ?"
Letting out a laugh i tilt my head "What if the guy that left not To long ago Is My boyfriend ? "
"Then Im Sure i can easily steal You" he stated cockily as if It was a proven fact.
Pfft men.
Not replying back to him i drum My fingers on the table looking off into space. All of a sudden he falls Off The chair making my attention snap back to him. His face looks terrified as he stares at something behind me and scrambles away. Looking behind me i see lucifer with a deadly glare walking back with a tray.
Food!! My eyes lit up.
He placed a tray on the table in front of me that had pancakes a muffin And hot chocolatewhile he fixed The chair that fell before sitting in it.
"I said those as options not that I wanted all three" I sip my hot coco. "You're not hungry ? And what's up with the foul mood you're oozing 'stay away from me' from your pores."
He takes a deep breath calming down a bit, the atmosphere losing some of its tenseness.
"What's wrong ?" I ask again.
"Hurry up and eat your breakfast" he bites out
"I Should have left for coffee with that cute guy grumpy " I mumble lowly but he hears it . I know this because the atmosphere gets extremely thick and he has a murderous expression on his face. Hmm Was he jealous?? Hah ! What a sight.
Looking around I noticed Everyone near us moved at least four tables away .
Poor scared people
Lucifer . I hiss warning him to stop it.
He of course ignored me. "Eat Ariel". I was starting to hate that name.
Taking a bite of My muffin i smile as a small image flashes through My mind. A petite blonde girl with wings, The same one I saw in my dreams, handed me a muffin. Taking a big bite of it I speak with a full mouth "i Love banana nut muffinsss thanks Ellie!"
Snapping out of it I mumble "I Love banana nut muffins"
Lucifer watches me and I continue. "In my memory I told this girl I loved them" unable to stop smiling I happily munch on my muffin.
His foul mood went away instantly and he returned my smile watching me amused
I couldn't have my happy time. I say this because once again the atmosphere changed. And once again everyone around us stood frozen. Knowing what's next I panicked looking to lucifer.
Reaching out to grab my arm Lucifers hand never made it because the same ox like beast materialized behind him grabbing him by the collar " Time to go home" he roared. Fearing that he'd hurt him or take him away I did the only thing I could do. Throwing my hot coco on the beast guy he drops lucifer. Before I could grin at the accomplished task he swung his free hand whacking me across the room.
Landing against the wall disoriented I groan rubbing the back of my head. Crap that hurt. Trying to sit up I fail. resting my cheek against the floor i watch The direction i just came from
Looking up I see a brooding lucifer standing over the now unconscious ox before taking long strides to me.
"You F*cking idiot princess Did you not think I could've handled it ??!" Not waiting for my response he roughly grabs my arm teleporting us back to the hotel room.
After making sure I was ok he left me alone in the hotel room to run errands about his fallen friend by himself.
Satans (LUCIFERS FATHER BTW )POV
When Levi Came back without my son I growled . Growing frustrated with him I looked at my loyal servant. "If you can't bring him Back to hell deliver a message. I'd rather him not look for the fallen. He needs to have a drive that doesn't include making companions " smirking I knew the exact way to fill my sons heart with hatred.
Lucifers POV
Wiping the sweat from my forhead I looked at the sorry excuse of mortals in a pile on the floor in front of me. 20 guys in gangs. And NONE of them the fallen. What the actual heck.
Who knew he'd be so hard to track down.
Levi chose that moment to make himself present again. Growling I felt the hatred rolling off me in waves. Standing a distance away he made no effort to come closer. Smart guy. Hes still not Off The book for harming My princess.
Not MY princess. Well My princess But i mean that in a platonic way. Just friends.
"I'm not here to take you back. I have some news about your father" he spoke
"What does the old man want" I smirked
"He's gone" wait what?
I said nothing. Because I didn't know how to take what he said.
So he continued "The fallen killed him."
Laughing i looked at Levi . "So My father Satán died ? And let me guess he went To hell ?"
"Foolish boy. When your soul dies on earth it goes to heaven or hell. When your soul is destroyed on those planes , heaven or hell, The soul Is permanently erased. Satan is gone. And your younger brother is currently leading the underworld. Knowing you probably need time I shall go for now" and he disappeared.
Speechless. The same person I was looking for managed to kill my old man. Smiling I feel hate consume my whole being. That bastard is going to die a slow and painful death and then I'll see him in hell .
