The Question...

Niall's POV

"I have a question for you"

"Go on."

"Would you like to move in with me??"

"Let me talk to Maddie about if she could still make the rent without me, ok?"

"OK, bye!"

"Bye"

So, I decided I would go about my day 'til Lane called. I went to work, recording and then came home to make dinner when my phone rang, I looked at the Caller ID and it was Lane.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Niall!" Lane cheerfully greeted me.

"Someone's in a happy mood!"

"Yea, I had a great day, plus I have good news."

'What is it?"

"I can move in with you, but there is a catch..."

"What is it?"

"I can move in, but we have to help Maddie pay the rent for the rest of the lease, which is 7 months."

"Done. See in an hour. OK?"

"OK."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I picked up a trailer on the way to Lane's apartment. When I got there, they were packing up all of Lane's stuff. I saw Maddie throw him his pillows and he stuffed in a bag and vacuum out all the air to collapse the bag and it's contents.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW?!?"

"Oh, hey Niall, didn't see you there. MADDIE NIALL'S HERE!!!"

"Oh, ok" she said walking out of what I presumed was Lane's room.

"Hello, I'm Niall Horan, and you are?"

"HI Niall, nice to meet you, Maddie Madonia"

"Same to you, oh I have something for you" I said while reaching for my wallet.

"Ok."

"Here, $7,500 for rent for the next few months."

"Thank you so much!! This will help out a lot!!"

"No problem, let me know if you need more." I said while flashing her a smile. She generously returned it.

I helped them finish packing up all of Lane's stuff in their apartment. Then, we all loaded up my Range Rover and trailer and Lane's truck. We then exchanged our goodbyes and decided we should get going since it was now 10:30 and Lane had school and I had work the next morning.
