When I Win Your Heart (A Captain Swan Fan Fiction)

Chapter 1 - The Movie

"Henry asked me to ask you if you would like to come watch a movie with us tonight" Emma asked, awkwardly.

"What's a movie, love?" Hook asked, a smile on his face.

"A book that is animated and you watch it on a TV" Emma said.

"What's a tv?" Hook asked, still confused.

"You'll see. So can you?" She asked.

"Sure, anything for you, Swan" he smirked, moving towards her.

"For me? I said Henry wanted you to come" she argued.

"Why would Henry want to watch a 'movie' with me?" Hook asked, a grin still on his face.

"Because we're watching Peter Pan" Emma said, letting out a small laugh.

"Peter Pan? He's here?" Hook yelled.

"No, it's the movie Peter Pan. It's animated. The Disney version. You're in it with your waxed mustache and perm" Emma laughed.

"What is-" Hook began, but Emma stopped him.

"You'll see! Just come over at 8" she said, beginning to walk away.

Hook nodded, watching Emma continue to walk away. Some alone time with Emma and Henry. He smiled, walking down the sidewalk. He didn't know what to do in this little town of Storybrooke, since he hardly understood what anything was.

It was almost eight and Hook was running down the street so he wouldn't be late. Just as he turned the corner to Emma's place, he crashed into someone.

"What are you doing, Hook?" Neal asked, annoyed.

"Just uh- running" Hook shrugged.

"To where?" He asked.

"Where'd you come from?" Hook asked, trying to change the subject.

"My dad's shop" Neal said.

"Now where are you going?" He demanded.

"Emma's" Hook said, awkwardly.

"You're just going to turn up there and do what? Try to win her over?" Neal laughed.

"She invited me" Hook smiled.

"I don't believe it for a second" Neal laughed.

"It's true. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to be late" Hook said, motioning Neal to move out of his way.

Neal rolled his eyes, stepping aside. Hook continued to run towards Emma's. He didn't realize Neal was following him. He got to Emma's door, knocking his fist against it. Just in time. He ran his fingers through his hair, making sure it wasn't messed up from running. He stopped himself, laughing and shaking his head. He couldn't believe he just fixed his hair before watching a 'movie', whatever that is, with Emma. She really did turn him into a nervous and in love school boy. The door opened, Emma standing there.

"Hey, Henry will be down in a second" she smiled.

He nodded, stepping inside. He felt so out of place here with all his leather on.

"Are you and Henry the only ones who live here?" Hook asked.

"Mary Margaret and David do, but they decided to spend a night out at Granny's" Emma said, walking into the kitchen.

She took out a bag, placing it in the microwave and pushing some buttons. The thing in the microwave began to pop.

"What's happening?" Hook asked, worried and confused.
