Change. It happens all the time. I see it in the weather, the seasons and on TV (a lot, but if it didn't i'd guess the shows would get boring, anyway), but what I once believed didn't change was a person's soul. The one thing that makes you who you are. I was proven wrong. My soul changed and it all started with a beautiful full moon night, a drink and a bite.

Chapter 1 - How I Got Into This Mess (Dramatic music! dun dun dun!)

Ok, lets take it back a step. Hi i'm Hanna Corbe, a 17 year old girl ( i know cliché, but what you gonna do), who is happy, fun and at times a little crazy; oh and maybe a little dark (well at least that's what my bestie Natalie thinks... but come on who doesn't love a good creepy, bloody movie/book every now and then). I live at home with my loving and maybe a little overprotecting parents and our awesome old English sheep dog Bear. Our house is a small two bedroom building that sits on the boarder line of secluded bush and polluted city in the Brisbane area. OK i think you get the jist of it, now we'll just skip to Saturday the 16th of November 2013 where I'm with Natalie and off to another party... fun ( totally no sarcasm there).

"Why are we here? We've been to three parties in the last week, don't you think it's time we do this thing that a lot of other people do; where they lay their heads on a pillow and are dead to the world.. wait i think it's called sleep?" I mumble as we enter Emily Crolw's house (a giant ass-ed mansion, fit for any snobby rich girl).

"Hanna please live a little. High school is over, we're young and totally hot and therefore deserving of a good time; we can sleep when we're dead." Natalie stated, "and plus Joel is here and we both know he's totally into me." Flicking her long glorious black hair over her shoulder and marching towards Joel and his mates

(Actually she's totally into him and he hardly knows her but i don't see the point in arguing with her, a girl wants what a girl wants). With Natalie turning on the flirt with Joel (Emily's older brother who is yes quite a looker), i'm once again left alone in a loud, crowed lounge room. I stay for a bit, due to the fact that the party does have awesome music, but as P!nk's 'walk of shame' comes to an end i make my way through the sweaty sticky mass of teenagers (as there is no way I am risking the chance that some idiot will spill beer all over my new hot as leather corset) and escape to the backyard. Which is more like a small forest, but i don't mind. Something about having giant trees around me makes me feel safe. I march through the trees alone with my thoughts, which is never good as now i find myself far enough away from the party that i can't even hear the blasting music. Sensing how scared shit less i was to be lost in the dark (with no phone as i may have a bad habit of breaking them, which is so not my fault; that wall shouldn't have gotten in its way) a bright full moon appears out from behind the clouds, lighting up the ground around me. Which happens to also light up a bush trail that leads back to the house (thank god). Determined to get back to the party and to kill Natalie, i head down the path. Suddenly the trees don't seem so safe anymore, with their branches making creepy shadows with the moonlight. After what feels like ages I start to hear voices. I look around to see where they're coming from hoping the house wasn't too much farther. Though there's no house (or people for that matter) in sight I still here the voices. They're louder now, sending chills down my spine. (I hate it when jerks think its funny to scary people). I stop, preparing to give the idiots a piece of my mind.

"Ok creepy whispering voices, I've had enough. Stop bring jerks and tell me how to get back to Emily's house."

Thinking I wouldn't get a reply I began walking.

"Now why would I tell you how to get back to the house, when I want you here?"

I freeze in shock. (What the hell?) Turning around, I see behind me... Nothing. (Nothing wait there was totally...) I was mentally cut off as strong bulky arm wrapped around my head and chest, giving full view of my neck. I struggled which only made the persons grip tighter. Hot, chilling breath poured down my neck as the guy began to speak.

"I love my dinner when it's hot."

(Hot? Was that meant to be a compliment. Wait dinner?)

Pain shot through my body as his teeth dug into my neck. Slowly the pain was subsiding and my vision blurring. (Great I'm dying, so gonna kill Natalie). The last of the world faded and I was out cold.
