Unbreakable

The winds break my stride but failing is something I will not!
My wings take flight but I clip them back for the fear of falling but,
How do I fall with my feet on the ground

The lady of the bible was what I was supposed to be
I ate, drank and slept ambition but when it came to action
My hands were like the beggers on the street
Always begging never doing

passive aggressive I said
Little did I know the only thing more aggressive than my tongue was...well
You see that's the problem my actions were supposed to back up my tongue
But they were just too sure of themselves

I'm a hot mess some might say and nuh-uh
Correction, was a hot mess

We live in a world of disorder
Disorder is just the law of the game and
That's something we have to accept

When someone lets go of your hand when you need them the most
Let them go because chances are when you were standing
They were probably using you as a standing stick to see how tall they can get with you
Leave them and you'll probably be surprised how fast they fall when they're not handicapped

Some people are like a manual book
Always there for "guidance" but never there to help

Looking back on the past, I realized how much I used to family, friends and acquaintance
Although different groups they all knew the language of fear a little too well

Sometimes you need a complete stranger to look at you dead in the eyes and say
You're going the wrong way but I can help you

Recently I've had an encounter like that and ever since
Sleepless nights stopped and my goals and visions were in line

That's a mistake most of us make,
Just because family and friends give the yes sign
Doesn't mean you're taking flight

If your heart gets spasms the minute you're alone or
You're not that international star you promised to be
Re-evaluate

Chances are if you're making everyone smile 24/7
There's that one smile you're neglecting
And it's time to change
