As I hastily crawled down the set of rusty ladders, I noticed many cobwebs down the way. I decided that he might've not been down here in awhile, so it was safe.

My arms were getting tired. How much farther did this go down? I was half expecting to be in the center of the earth. I felt the cool air kiss the small of my back through the thin layer of clothing I had on. Minutes later, I reached the bottom, feeling the damp, dirty floor under my bare feet.

There was a dark, narrow passage way leading into a dark abyss. I was hesitant to go farther into the hallway, but my instincts overtook my fear. The darkness swallowed up my figure as I walked cautiously down the narrow passage.

As I used the wall as my guide, I was afraid. I was usually never this scared, but I could barely see anything. All I could make out was the dirty, brown stained walls. It looked like dried blood, but I didn't know. I couldn't tell exactly what it was. A metallic, musty smell lingered in the air. There was a hint of dampness on the walls and on the floor. As I walked faster, I felt myself bump into something squishy, and trip.

I fell on top of some figure. I couldn't bare to look down, I didn't want to know what I fell on top of. I clenched my jaw and closed my eyes tightly, putting my hands onto the floor to help myself up. As I regained my balance, I swiftly hopped over the object blindly, making sure not to touch it again.

I finally reached a room. My hands were free of the wall, and I was in a big room.
A BIG room.
I could only imagine how big it was. I ran close to the wall, trying to find a light switch, unable to feel anything. The side of the room never ended. I sighed, slowing down to a walking pace. My hand finally felt a bump.

I gasped, using both my hands to open the light. The lights flickered on and I took a look around.

As my eyes adjusted to the lights, I looked at the items in the room. It was filled with old, 1960 cars and what looked like machines and torture equipments. There were stacks of gasoline, matches and junk in the corners of the room. On the side were stacks of money from all around the world, and suitcases filled with crumpled up clothes and rotten food. There were surprisingly no insects or rodents, but was still extremely filthy. I gagged at the smell of a nearby trash can, quickly moving away from it.
I heard faint cackling, and froze in my spot.
"Doll face, do you really think you could get away from me that easily?"
I heard the Joker say, instantly recognizing his voice. I panicked and silently scurried to the beaten up wooden desk, hiding behind it. I heard footsteps slowly coming towards the entrance of the large room.
"Come now, Doll Face. You'll get punished either way. If you come out, it'd be faster."
He said coldly, scanning the room. I was frozen, running on pure adrenaline.
"There you are, Doll."
He said, towering over me.
