Chapter One ~ Me and Dying
Hello. My name is Alexandria Walker, I'm 15 and I am an angel. Yes the ones in heaven. You want to know how I died at such a young age, huh? Well it was an early Friday morning in September 2015.It was Friday the thirteenth three days after my birthday. I decided this was it; I was done with the suffering and pain. I finished the letter on clean crisp paper and grabbed the knife. I cut deep into my wrist and slowly drifted into internal sleep. I saw the beautiful golden gate and my lost loved ones. The gate slowly opened and I walked in.I cried and ran to my family I had not seen in what seemed like forever. They asked me why I had done this and at my age. I told them it was no use fighting anymore. The pain and suffering ended. Not for my parents. Theirs had just begun. I was gone. I wished I had given them more of a goodbye then an emotionless letter.Whats done is done and is in the past. I can't ever return to earth. Until now.
Chapter Two ~ My Parents Hurt
I had been in heaven for a month now. I watch my parents most of the time. They cry every day. I wish I could tell them I'm ok and they will see me again, but I can't. I asked God and he said there was no way to. I wished I hadn't done it so soon. I regretted it.One thing I was never told was that if you wish something in heaven, you get it.
Chapter Three ~ Leaving Heaven
It was an early Saturday morning. I had just gotten to my grandpa's house when all of a sudden I felt a jerk, like gravity shifted. I was being pulled down. As I fell through the clouds I felt the pain all over again. When I hit the ground it didn't hurt like I thought it would. I fell next to my house. I didn't't know who could see me. I walked up to the door after I found what to say to my parents. I rang the doorbell once. It took a minute but my mom answered. As she stood shocked in the doorway she yelled for my dad to come here. She asked him if he sees me too. He nodded. She cried and hugged me, then my dad joined in. She asked me how I was here when she had buried me a month ago. I told her that I went to heaven and saw everyone and that it was a normal day and gravity pulled me until I started to fall through the clouds.
Chapter Four ~ Coming Back To Reality
I went back to school a week later. Everyone looked at me as if I were a ghost. Also in my letter I may have confessed to loving a boy to loving a boy named Luke Jacobs. He came up to me at the end of the day and said he loved me too and he kissed me. My first day back was hard. Everything was different. The teachers said they would catch me up soon. My friends pelleted me with questions like "Where were you?", or "Did you die?" I answered truthfully and said, "Yes and I went to heaven." They looked shocked. I told them I was still the same. They keep calling me a 'Fallen Angel'. Everyone does.
Chapter Five ~ Living Life
The next day I was greeted by my new boyfriend and my best friend, Makenzie Blackburn. People now started asking if I was a vampire. I straight up told them, "No, I'm perfectly human." They still had their beliefs. My teachers had almost caught me up but I still need some things to learn. I was happy that everything was going great. I didn't have any more suffering or pain. I was at peace on earth. Later that night we ate dinner at my grandma's house. It was like a homecoming for me. I loved being back it was like a refresher of what used to be. My perfect life.
Chapter Six ~ So...What Happened When I Was Gone?
After school me, Makenzie, and Luke met at the library to discuss everything. When I got there I greeted everyone with a hug. We sat in our place in the back of the library. I asked my friend Makenzie what happened while I was gone. She told me that Luke cried when he heard that I loved him and that I was gone. She also said a lot of people cried and some people held in their tears until they were home. I had mixed emotions at that moment. She hugged me and told me she was overjoyed and confused at the same time when I came back. Luke had told me everything about the emotion of everyone I knew. He said that when anyone said my name it would go silent and soft cries could be heard. He told me that when he read my letter he cried when he was done. He said that he kept replaying those words in his head. I love you Luke. After an hour of talking it was time to leave. I hugged everyone and said goodbye.
Chapter Seven ~ At Home
(Later the same night)
After a pleasant tune-filled drive I was home. I went to my room and wrote a song. I put some music on after that and did my homework. Then I sat on my bed and fell asleep. I dreamt a dream about heaven and the people there. I missed my grandpa and great grandma. Then I was suddenly awoken from my wonderful dream by my little brother pulling me off my bed telling me dinner was ready. Then he dropped me when I was halfway off the bed and left. I sat down at the table half-awake still thinking about my dream and heaven. I wanted to go back, but my life was great again. I will go back someday. When it is my time.
