I woke up to the sound of my mom calling my name
"JADEEEEE!WAKE UP DEAR,YOUR FRIEND IS HERE"my mom said from downstairs
"OK!I'LL BE THERE IN A MINUTE"i said back
I got up from bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth then went downstairs to see my mom and nathan talking by the island .
"Goodmorning to the love of my life"Nathan said dramatically
"Goodmorning aswell my good sir"i reply
The two of us laughed then walked in the kitchen where my mom was.
"Goodmorning,mother dear"i greeted her
"Goodmorning aswell my daughter"she said chuckling
"So i was thinking maybe we could go to the CNE,sounds good?"Nathan asks
"Sure thing!lemme get ready"i said as i ran to my room
I wore a simple grey shirt with the word 'pray.' On it then wore some ripped jeans and a leather jacket with my high-cut shoes and some nerdy glasses to go with my style.
"im ready!"i shout as i go down the stairs
"You look nice"he said with a wink
"Puh-lease hon,dont i look good ERDAY?"i ask
"Jeez,lets just get going"he said while chuckling
We got in his car then drove off.we went and bought 2 tickets for the both of us then ate,A LOT.we were eating while walking when i saw someone familiar my eyes zoomed in on the person the immediately widened when i recodnize the person and pulled nathan to the back of a tent
"What's wrong?"nathan asked
"Do you know who Cross Miller is?"i asked
"Is he that popular guy?that guy that always has girls following him?"his jaws clenched
"Yep,exactly. What is he doing here!?"i asked
"How am I supposed to know?!"he replied
Our little argument got cut after we were interrupted by a voice
"Jade?"I turned around and saw him.CROSS FREAKIN' MILLER.
"How do you know my name?" I asked surprised
"I have my ways "he said while chuckling
"Welp we better get going now,hehe"i said and laughed nervously
"Hey,im kinda not with anyone here,can i tag along with you guys?"cross asked with a hopeful look
I looked at nathan and he shrugged
"Welp,we could probably use more company "i say
"Well ok"he said with a smile
The three of us walked around ,talked , and bought alot of food.AGAIN.then got tired and walked home.
"well I'll see you guys later "nathan said
"Goodnight nathy"I nicknamed him
"Goodnight too,boo"he said then winked at me
Me and cross were left alone and we continued walking
"So,this is my stop"i say
"Oh ok,I really had fun today and i hope we could do it again sometime,buuuuuuut,have to walk a couple more blocks.so..goodnight"he said with a smile
"Well i had fun aswell and......goodnight "I replied with a smile aswell
He gave me a final wave as I entered the house.i kept thinking about the way his lips curl up everytime he smiles and whe-UGGHHH!! Don't think about him.
But a little voice inside my head said''I guess he isn't what they say he was"
