*Your POV*

A few hours after that fight with my mom, I stayed in my room and didnt come out. I knew that Justin wasn't going to hurt me. She should just trust me. I heard a knock on my door and my mothers head peaked in the door crack. I rolled my eyes and looked at my phone. She walked over to my bed and gently sat down. She took a deep breath.

"Honey...I-I'm sorry. I should trust you. But I just don't want another guy like Kyle to come into your life. I want you to have the best person for you. Your seventeen and you've already been hurt. I just want the best for you. That's all." She looked me deep into my eyes. I saw the emotion in her.

"Its okay mom. I just need you to trust me."

"Okay. I trust you."  She grabbed my hand.

"And mom...I-I don't hate you. I'm sorry for saying that." I said feeling a lump build in my throat.

"Its okay." She smiled at me.

"Justin wanted to know if you and I could go to the beach with him and his mom tomorrow. Its pretty hot."

"I don't even know his mother!" She laughed.

"Good. Prefect time to make a new friend." I patted her leg.

She laughed. "Okay. Just let me know what time and we'll go." She began getting up to walk out. I nodded.

"Okay mom."

*Hour Later*

It was now 11:30 at night and I got a call from Justin.

You: Hey!

Justin: Hey what's up?

You: Laying here. Being a loner.

Justin: Wish I could be there.

I thought to myself as my heart sunk. Did he really just say that!?!?!? He wanted to be at my house. With me.

Justin: I-I mean not like that. Uhh..

You: Aha. No. Its okay. Wish you were too.

I smiled and blushed.

Justin: So what'd your mom say? About the beach?

You: Yeah. She said she'll go. She wants to meet your mom.

Justin: Awesome. My mom does too. I think they'll be cool.

You: Yeah.

Justin: How have you been? Like at home?

I wasn't gonna tell Justin about the fight because it was about him. And it wasn't really in a good way.

You: Its been good. Dads not really around. Work has taken over. By the time he gets here, I'm asleep.

Justin: Oh..that sucks. I don't see my dad like that either.

You: Hey, one thing in common.

Justin: You bet.

You: Justin...?

Justin: Yeah?

You: You may not feel the same way but, I think I like you.

Justin: I do. I like you too. Your cool.

I was silent for a moment while I smiled.

Justin: Hey my mom wants me to help her with something. I'll see you at school tomorrow?

You: Yeah. Okay. Bye bye!

Justin: Bye.
