Pushing the double doors open my brown orbs danced around the hallway. The faint sound of a cheer to be heard from a far. Humming with glee I swing the blue and white pom-poms my father had supplied me with as I skipped toward the noise. Play nice Alice. My fathers words rang through my head as I reached my destination. My black curls tied back into a pony, it swaying softly as I walked. Entering the hall as instructed I cleared my throat, all eyes instantly on me. Hushed voices spoke among them selves, talking of who I was and why I was within their presence. All I could do was play pretty for now until my 'maniax' came for me later on in the day. Two girls made their way over to me, their arms linked together walking in time with each other. Stopping in front of me their eyes traveled up and down as if trying to asses if I was worthy enough to be there "well aren't you adorable" spoilt, posh, stuck up. All these words came to mind as the preppy blonde uttered her words. The smile on her face was as fake as mine, we both knew this, of course neither of us said anything. Her free hand reached for her ponytail, twirling it around her index finger, her brow quirked in amusement. "I'm cassi, with an I, and this gorgeous creature to my right is Emily" my gaze drifted over to Emily. The expression on her face showing me she was uncomfortable with the whole situation. Her long mousy brown hair scraped up, practically identical to that of her blonde friend to the left of her. She was a couple of inches shorter than the blonde, and clearly her little sidekick. Reluctantly she looked up at me, nerves instantly dancing through out her eyes. Gracing me with a polite nod I merely smiled at the girl, trying my best not to laugh at how pathetic she came across. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you both, I'm sorry to hear your friend became drastically unwell, but of course. I'm here to aid you all in anyway I can" A smirk played on my lips, trying my best to fight it back, although unfortunately defeat was inevitable. You see, my father had gone to great measures to secure my place within this passing group. The first being to get rid of one of the main girls. It was easy really. Given his high status in Gotham already he took it upon himself to invite said girl and her family over for tea in order to discuss some cock and bull story. Again, lacing all of their food with a substance that would in fact render them all extremely ill within a couple of days was also far to easy. During this time however I was made to form an alliance with this girl, convince her of my love for cheerleading so when it came down to crunch time, I was the person she suggested for cover. Surprisingly it all played into our hands perfectly. The boys knew what they had to do, I knew what I had to do, there was nothing else to it really. With her left arm Cassi linked arms with me, directing me over toward the rest of the group. Excitement danced around in my stomach as I knew the fate that lied in store for them, all so unsuspecting. All so trusting. If I wasn't so cold I may have taken pity on them, however, I just relished in the thought of knowing they'd all be BBQ real soon.  Cassi's eyes were focused ahead as she walked, a playful smile dancing over her lips as she made eye contact with one of the young men sat at the table we were making our way toward. "Guys, this is ... Actually what is your name sweetie?" The blonde looked at me, a fake toothy smile on her face as she questioned me. Every ounce of me wanted to swipe that pretty little grin off her face. Playing nice was most defiantly not my speciality. "Alice" my voice soft as I uttered my name, trying to appear as pleasant as I possibly could. Taking a seat with the two girls that dragged me over my eyes danced over the 'men' we were sat with. Reluctantly I call them men, really they were nothing more then testosterone fuelled Neanderthal boys. All of them more than likely stuck up their own arses, thinking they were gods gift. I hesitantly smiled at them all. Playing innocent, now that I was good at.

"So Alice. What brings you here? Reckon I would have noticed a beautiful girl like you walking around school" one of the Neanderthals finally piped up, my eyes meeting his, shrugging softly I looked down to my manicured hands. "I have only recently moved back here with my father, Theo Galavan. I had befriended one of the girls from your cheer squad. Unfortunately she came down with something a few days ago, knowing I used to be in the cheer squad at my previous school she asked me to fill in" nodding in approval he ran his fingers over his stubbly chin "so you're the bird Tash was always on about? Said you were a right laugh, stunning too. She weren't wrong there was she boys" they all laughed, doing the typical teenage boy thing, discussing my appearance and nodding in agreement when one of them made a degrading comment. Holding my anger back I merely laughed, the image of their bus going up in flames bringing comfort to me. The delightful image in my head was quickly washed away by the sharp screech of a whistle. My gaze averting over to the middle aged man. His salt and pepper hair reseeding, pot belly protruding over his shorts. "Ladies, gentlemen. Who ready to kick some butt!" Everyone in the room cheered loudly. My face holding a solid smirk as I watched the crowd cheer, all brimming with excitement and enthusiasm.
