Lucas and the lady were laughing and so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't notice Elena walk in till she banged the door.

They turned to her direction.

The sight of them laughing really got to her.

She was hurt.

She's never seen Lucas look at another lady or even talk to ladies unless it's something concerning business.

She didn't know how to react. If she should give attitude or fake smile and act nicely.

She went with the latter.

"Hello", she said smiling at them 🙂

"Elena, you're back🙂".

"Yeah, I see you have a new friend".🙂

"Oh nah. She's an old friend. I ran into her at the bank"

"Lucy, this is Elena my wife".🙂

"Hello Elena", Lucy said faking a smile.

Elena just smiled at her and assessed her.

She's pretty, she thought to herself.

"I'll be upstairs if you need me"🙂

"Uhm, why don't you join us for lunch. Lucy actually cooked the food", Lucas said smiling🙂

"Yeah, you should taste it, she's a very good cook."😋

"Yeah, try it. Lulu always loved my food way back. And I'm sure it's even better now", Lucy said grinning😆

"Lulu😑😑, this girl has got nerves", she said to herself.

"Friends... With benefits actually, till I started dating someone else", Lucy said.

Lucas noticed the glare Elena was shooting at him and he looked away.

"Lucas or Lulu🙂,can I talk to you for a minute", Elena said.

"Sure".

She climbed the stairs to their room and waited for Lucas.

"What's up", he said closing the door behind him.

"Wow. I can't believe this. You let someone you shared intimacy with, walk into our home and also made her cook for you", she said hurt.😣😣

"It's not like that. I was hungry and she volunteered to cook".

"Oh God, he's still defending his actions,😪😪 Lucas you're hurting me. I just asked for a day to myself and this is how you make use of yours".
