"And still your NXT Women's Champion, Sasha Banks!!!"-x-
"Cheers to Sasha retaining her title tonight." Enzo raised his shot glass up as did everyone else, "I didn't think you could do it but you did." He added, jokingly, causing Sasha to roll her eyes.
"You're so stupid." She responded with, her attitude was present but it was more light-hearted than anything else and he then chuckled.
"Anyways, cheers!" Solomon interrupted them as Sasha sent Enzo a playful glare and he did the same back before he downed his shot and everyone did the same.
Sasha cleared her throat after drinking the shot because of the burning sensation, "Don't worry, Sash. You'll get used to it." Enzo patted her shoulder as she sucked her teeth. "It isn't my first shot, Enzo."
"Whatever, Ms. Attitude." Enzo rolled his eyes and began talking to Cass. She looked up to meet the eyes of Finn Bálor who was staring right back at her. What pissed her off was that Enzo knew she was trying to avoid him yet he invited him to come out with them.
"Can we talk outside?" He asked her in a low tone and Sasha had no other choice but to say yes.
It would've been really uncomfortable if she would've said no, so she had to face the inevitable.
They got up from their seats and walked outside where a small breeze hit them once they made it out. They stood beside the door and Sasha didn't make any eye contact with the man standing before her.
"Mind explaining the reason you have been avoiding me?" He started as her eyes diverted to his. "I don't have to explain anything to you." She replied, rudely, causing Finn to sigh and cross his arms.
"You're acting like a child." He commented, staring into her beautiful brown eyes that hid behind her glasses.
She sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes, "Whatever. I really don't want to talk about this right now." She tried to push past him but like before, he was too strong.
"Can you stop?" He asked with a small grin on his face.
"I don't want to talk to you, Finn. Don't you understand that?" She stopped pushing him to look up at him, meeting his gaze. "Can you tell me why?" He questioned in a calm voice as Sasha shook her head.
"No."
"So this is how it's going to be?" He asked her, getting a bit irritated as she placed her hands on her hips. "You're not going to talk to me anymore because you don't want to tell me why you started avoiding me?"
Sasha looked away and realized she was acting childish with this whole situation, "Please, Sasha. Tell me what I did wrong." He sounded desperate enough to get her attention and he succeeded in doing so. Finn needed to find out the reason why. He was planning on trying everything to find out.
"Am I was bad kisser or something?" He asked, causing a smile to appear on Sasha's face. Even though he was trying to stay serious, he couldn't help but smile since he missed her smile.
"No." She responded, staring straight into his eyes. "Then, what was it? Was it the whole incident with Becky because—
"I know, Finn. You didn't mean it like that." She sighed, again breaking the eye contact as Finn sighed in relief, feeling a weight lift off from his shoulders. Sasha sighed in defeat, "I like you, Finn." She told him with a serious look and Finn smiled. "I like you too, Sasha."
Sasha sighed, "That's why I've been avoiding you." She admitted, leaving Finn to scratch his head and narrow his eyes, confused, "I don't understand."
"It was in the past. The guy I dated that I told you about told me the same thing you just to said to me," Sasha looked away, remembering what happened to her. "He was someone I liked so much and when he told me that, I was so happy." She couldn't help but feel the sadness forming within her. She didn't understand why she was getting so emotional about it.
"And he was just like you. Handsome, great sense of humor, amazing personality. Perfect, too perfect. If I wasn't so blind, I could've seen that he didn't even look like he should've been with me. I was so stupid."
A tear fell down her eye as she quickly wiped it. "Everything was too good to be true because weeks later, I found him cheating on me."
She looked back at him and locked her eyes on his, "What if you do the same thing he did to me? I don't—I can't let that happen to me again."
Finn shook his head before caressing her cheek, gently, "Give me time to prove myself. And I promise that I won't be like that asshole who did that to you." She broke the eye contact between them and sighed, "He was stupid for cheating on you because you're amazing—
"No, I'm not. I mean, I don't have friends except for Enzo, Cass, and Solomon. I'm awkward and I'm not perfect—
"That isn't true, Sasha. Even with all your flaws and your weaknesses, you are still perfect to me." He argued, leaning in a bit closer as his words made her heart race out of her chest. "Please let me prove it to you."
She couldn't form a sentence, incoherent words stumbling out of her mouth before she was cut off as his lips captured hers into a soft kiss. Sasha's eyes fluttered closed as she put her arms around his neck, moving her lips in sync with his. Finn wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him. He was very gentle with the kiss and she was loving every second of it.
Obviously, he had control because he was way more experienced at kissing than Sasha was but she didn't mind. He gently bit her lip before pulling away, breaking the kiss.
She groaned lowly, wanting the kiss to last longer but it was good enough, "So, will you make me the happiest man alive and go on a date with me?" He asked with a huge grin on his face, holding her in his embrace as she smiled, widely.
"Of course."
